I share EXACTLY the same sentinel.
And I’m not being sexist .
The man is a Mààlu. A big one.
I blame the man. 100%.
For him to not have picked that out, he is daft.

Again, I say it with my chest; the man is dumb, and outrightly stupid.

Hello guys, please i need some advice.

I got a job in the uk after doing several rounds of interview but during the stage of processing, they took it back because of the money involved in processing( i live in Nigeria) since then, i have been applying to so many other hospital in the Uk and in Nigeria with no luck( currently jobless at the moment lost it during covid)

The insecurities and everything happening in Nigeria is really my driving factor right now and also the fact that i have 6 years experience in my occupation ( IVF clinical embryologist) with measly pay

I have a BSc in biochemistry and currently rounding up my masters in biotechnology( online masters from a university in Spain. A scholarship i won) Also i am married with 1 child. I currently sell stuffs but i do not really make money of it.

I recently applied for an Msc in adult nursing in the Uk because i am hoping to relocate and give myself and my child a better future instead of wallowing here. i have the money i saved for it.

My questions is, can i work as a nurse after schooling or is it just a waste of money?

Is there a career path in towing this way?

Isnt it better than staying idle in Nigeria without any job?

Can i get a good job while schooling to at least take care of me and my family.

Please, i need all the advice i can get. Am i mistaking a mistake?

Forgive me for sounding this EMotional. I was severely discouraged about this idea by a family member and now i am confused.

So what if the man and the woman both wanted the lady to fulfil a housewife role while he worked and made the money?
She lied to him she was a graduate, and he believed the lie and said fine, you'll be holding down the homefront anyway, no wahala.

Now APC has changed the narrative and a Plan B imposes itself, the man decides to change his plan only to find out that his wife had made misrepresentations to him.

How is he at fault here?

Nursing is a good course to study. There’s a common saying that “nurses can never go broke except u don’t want to work”. The employment rate for nurses in the UK is VERY high.

Coming with ur husband will make it easy as he can work while u concentrate on ur studies. Since u already have money saved for the tuition, the financial burden won’t be much.

So yeah, there’s a better chance for you in the UK and it won’t be waste of money.

In 2021, nursing is among one of the best courses you can study, not necessarily for the money, but for the employability.
Go for it.

She dropped out.
So she could have the friends, the knowledge of some facets of university life, the photos, i.e. the ability to flow.

And I dont think many couples ask each other for degrees, transcripts or graduation booklets.
That shows some serious trust issues o.
I only saw my wife's papers when we were getting her a masters.
Never occurred to me to ask for them before that time.
And she took my word that I had a master's degree and a bachelor's degree and never asked me to prove that either.

Is this now unusual in today's Nigerian dating and marriage scene?

Nigerians have abused the name of God way too much.. They use it in any situation whether scamming or hurting people.

This funny thing is most of these scammers are uber dunce, it beggars belief how they are able to get away with it.

I think he said she started but had to leave at 2nd year....so if its pictures she can have the ones for those two years . I never saw my graduation booklet or attended for my first degree .. although I have NYSC pictures

So maybe I could have lied cheesy. I think its possible especially if the girl supposedly finished long time before she married

Maybe for this generation oh! Because like you my husband and I trusted each other’s word! And I definitely would have been offended and vice versa for him if he tried to confirm that I was a graduate.

I think we should give the husband in question some grace sha @Stenon ... if doctors drop out from school and still manage to run a full fledged fake clinic fooling the general public and regulatory bodies, then i think that a man whose beloved meant to deceive would be deceived! It is well. I pray they both find peace.

so you don't have a certificate or statement of result or any school file at all ?
How sure are we that this is just the only mistake she has done ? I guess so many hidden truth if the man can go deeper than this.

Never knew you'd have to vet your partner's certificate or statement of result.. lol. If your husband was working or running a good business before you met him, chances of you asking for certificates is very slim..
Admit, the guy isn't so sharp, but really, it's something that could happen.. Especially if the couple aren't in the same age bracket.. It's safe to assume the woman has always been a housewife/business woman till this point hence the man not really taking cognizance of it.
It is solely the woman's fault here though. 100% I am sure the poster and the sister knows it so no need to go back and forth throwing stones.

My advice: Tell your hubby and try and find another plan.. The hubby coming for Masters while she is the dependent. When he is done, she can then enroll for her own Bsc. Gives you guys more time in the UK. 2 years Msc + 2 years PSW + 3/4 years BSC +2 years PSW=9/10 years in the UK.

All the best!

The mail didn't State a date or time

Is this the mail that one gets to go for capturing?
Can i pop in anytime?

Because I have to take off days from work if I gotta honor it.

'please proceed to NIS London Office with all required documents as listed on the NIS website to complete your passport application'

No date and time. I expect a mail with date and time. Those who have renewed passport previously should please provide guidance. Thanks in anticipation

She won't be able to have her husband and children in the UK as dependents if studying a B.Sc unless they've moved to another visa (Skilled Worker, etc.) by then.
