hire purchase is better, that way you can be independent in a short time

Please house, is there any comparative advantage of using a newer model car as to an older model in terms of money generated? I.e a 2014 corolla vs 2008 corolla. Thanks.

newer model cars mostly consume less fuel but are more expensive to maintain. I advise you join the league of 2003 to 2006 corola users

Stick to your job if you don't have a car to drive personally.
You may never make your salary as a rental driver. BTW, do you pay house rent monthly?

A friend and a brother is contemplating on either Abuja and Lagos. He's kinda skeptical about Lagos because that city stress.

Do you have a car of your own?
If you don't, stick to that job. I don't think it is worth it, leaving a job of 70k and even relocating to another place to take up ehailing job on rental basis, unless the car is yours.

Would you advice me to use an Avalon 2005 for uber ? Its v6 but does not consume fuel like that

If it is your vehicle, go ahead. It will be better than opting for rental
