I really don't understand why the north is not seeing thr bright side of things. Take ur cattle back to the north and ranch them. Put ur margin on the cattle when selling back to the south. Simple. Except taking over the land is the main agenda here

Your argument was the government focusing too much on cattle, not bush so stop switching, even sef, the FG came up with solutions to establish animal husbandry ranches with free money, but tribalists, bigots and anti-government elements rejected.

The Southern governors with their pontifications ad gatherings, did they come up with their own solutions or plans to establish ranches in the South? No.

How lost and confused can you all be, all you know how to do is wail and complain , but you lack ideas and solutions.
This is the shit I don't like! Nobody is against any business but truth be told, is it government that should be sourcing for land for them qbd trying to beat everyone into submission to give out lands whether free or paid for?
This is a private business for heaven's sake! Haba. Let the cattle herder go buy lands for themselves shikena
FG should also rent stores, buy canoes, hoes, tractors and fishing nets for all type of business concerns too na!
The appropriate thing to do is the dudes behind this cattle biz should go buy lands for themselves and ranch.
No be southern govt go get solution for them.

He said if government gave him the #7b that was meant for the youth that he would used it to invest in cattle business. All the allocation you received as gov of imo state why did you and your family looted it instead of investing it?

You think that is how you are going to become president of Nigeria. Then to continue your looting and the people will continue to die. You are a complete disgrace to governance. How many jobs did you create in Imo state when you were governor?

But new Zealand is not going from bush to bush with their cattle and destroying other people's livelihoods with their cows, nigerians are not against farming or cattle rearing, what everyone from this side is talking is that a personal business should remain a personal business, like all other businesses and more like that

Don’t mind the oponu, he thinks that he s intelligent

What kind of question is this when countries all over the world are aggressively fighting trade wars over cattle and meat, hundreds of billions of dollars global meat rade.

Small New Zealand exports $9 Billion worth of Cattle meat in one year alone, more than our overall export.

Sometimes the government is not the problem in Nigeria, it's ignorance and the shallow mentality of the unexposed average Nigerian that is the problem.

You're just exposing ur ignorance

This man was a governor for 8 years but kept erecting statues and looting money. Now, he wants to create jobs he didnt create when he was a gov. Typical ibo man. Always telling lies and bullying everyone. Same applies to other regions too. Selfish people.

Rochas you are very stupid! You were a governor for sometime and you couldn't create that same 1million jobs you are boasting about now.

So FG should give you the 76 billion naira so you can buy more houses in London and Dubai?

You are very stupid Rochas!

why open ranches for strangers...how many goat barns have they opened for their people?
Let everyone stay on their lane, more so when one side see it as a right to lord it over others, even when they contribute next to nothing to national development both in human and natural resources.

These herdsmen that are disturbing Nigeria under the open grazing system do not even pay taxes given the high volume of sales they are making from cattle business.

But like what Senator Rochas Okorocha is saying Nigeria can earn more if Nigeria apply modern method of rearing cattles.

You are actually the one who's shallow here.
The question makes sense.
If the government wants to revolutionize cattle farming in a way thst it will generate enough foreign exchange for the country, they know what to do. It's simple. They have to make policies that are genuinely specific to such area in a way that's not sectional or politicized with ulterior motives...

But when they government starts using cattle farming as an excuse to unload a generation of violent ijiots on steroids from different parts of Africa all over the country, encouraging them to kill and maim while they continue to rear cattle in the most primitive way possible, folks have the right to question the motives. Since the beginning of this administration, all we hear is cattle and Ruga, yett there's no reasonable progress, rather what we see is violence..

Ah! Sir are you saying without the cattle business Nigeria will become poorer? But are Fathers enjoyed life better before the coming of cattle business, now your fathers and mother's can't go to farm without fear of the unknown.
What pains me more is that you are a Senator representing Nigerians and you make laws still you can't make laws to guard these herdsmen.

What is true about government giving money for a business that should be done by entrepreneurs?
How much money is the federal government giving to pig farmers, cassava farmers, ICT businesses etc
