Having Bitcoin or Ethereum as a newbie isn't bad, but there are quite a lot of other coins that could give you a faster growth.

Eg Buying Bitcoin with 300k at a price of $54k now means it has to get to $108k before you get X2 of 300k.

I'll explain further.

And when these coins get to $2, that's 100% growth and an easy X2 of your 300k equity if you had bought them.

So why wait long term for #BTC or $ETH to go X2 when you can grow your equity with other solid and less expensive coins?

Don't forget that what actually grows your

account is not the price of the Cryptocurrency but rather the percentage increase.

Let me explain.

#BTC was $30k at the beginning of the year, and #BNB was $40 then.

Now $BTC is $54k and #BNB is $628.

Which do you think has increased more in terms of price? $BTC right?. But which do you think has seen much more growth?.

Definitely #BNB because while $54k (current price) - $30k (Beginning of year's price) = $24k.
And $24k ÷ $30k multiplied by 100 is only 80%.

That is #BTC has only grown 80% from the beginning of the year to it's present price

so if you invested 100k into #BTC at the beginning of the year you'd have 100k X 80% profit which is 180k in total.

Now let's calculate for #BNB.

#BNB at the beginning of the year was $40 right? And it's current price is $628.

Now $628 - $40 = $588.

$588÷$40 X 100% = 1,470%.

You can see this shows #BNB has had a much more exponential growth compared to #BTC despite having a cheaper price compared to #BTC.

Now if you bought #BNB worth 100k at the beginning of the year, calculating it now it would be 100k X 2 X 1,470 = #1,570,000.

So which gave you more growth? The one with a better price growth, or the one with a better percentage growth?

Now you have your answer.

Like I said above, holding Bitcoin or ETH currently isn't bad, but for me I'd rather prefer growing my equity faster through other Cryptos

and then buy Bitcoin or Ethereum with it later when I have a bigger equity rather than holding them currently when I don't have an equity suitable for that. I currently think holding Bitcoin and Ethereum now should be for the institutions, whales and maybe dolphins who have huge

equities and not for the average trader (unless you want to hold them long term of course, because they're solid coins).

This is not a Financial advice though, just my opinion and I hope you understand my reason for it.

Bitcoin isn't banned, only the banks are banned from transacting it.

You can use P2P to buy.
Thanks

Elon is trying hard to prove that BTC is not decentralized and those who respect his tweets so much are trying to prove him right.

I think he is doing a bit too much now and will soon loose relevance.
There are always fluctuations in the market, for all kind of reasons. You can blame others for what they tweet (their freedom). Or you can take advantage of the opportunities.

When someone called him a SCAMMER some people defended him here, the person that ezposed him further went ahead to say he was the one that scammed mechandiser, but mechandiser is a noob to crypto and maybe nairaland.

This is poor advise.

He should have capitulated days ago.

If he didn’t then, capitulating now would seal his losses.

There is going to be a big bounce, we are at the light at the end of the tunnel.

Just please take profits this time.

I dey hold LUA and XEM. Make I pull out?

I'm loosing over $200 already

It's interesting how same thing keeps happening in this market over and over again and yet people react thesame way anytime it happens...

Let me draw our attention to the weekly RSI so people can appreciate where we are in the market... First RSI shows momentum in the market... Mostly likened to buying/selling pressure.... When it's oversold, it means folks are selling more.

I've attached the weekly RSI which spans over the last 6 years... Generally, the midrange (around 50-56) acts as support in a bull market amd as resistance in a bear market...

The point I'm making is simple... If you're sh*tying your pants on this, you're better off packing your load when there's a relief rally and leaving crypt0...
The RSI will definitely dip into oversold territory one day and would remain there for months (of course there'd always be a narrative).... Thesame euphoria we witnessed over the past months will be replaced by proper FUD....

Folks are already asking a bear market and I'm smiling... In a bear market, the FUD is x10 of what we have now, it's unrelenting and unforgivable..... It's easy to say I'd buy the blood during a rally, it's another to really buy it when it comes

It's interesting how this space has grown.. I've not yet seen anyone who's traded crypt0 over 1 year that's calling dooms day on this.... Even if it dips much lower folks have seen worse and they know stuff will still rebound..

Guys please if you're using Trustwallet.

Update your app on playstore.....

Go to settings security and activate Transaction Signing.

Click on setting...

Click on security..

Click on passcode..

Click on transaction signing....

Scammers are back, sending tokens to people's wallets then wiping them out....

Never do an airdrop with your main wallet.

Transaction signing will set up a password for each and every transaction. So hackers can't send your tokens to them if they don't have your password (this is different from private key)

They can't ever hack the Blockchain itself but can hack platform.

Make hay while sun shine......

I wish this price is reflected on other exchanges. It is only cointiger that get that price. It would have been amazing, imagine $100 giving you above $50k.

Contemplating putting $1000 into betec now lol, wise choice? Can see it’s on an upward trend, any advice

I don't gie advice on when to buy coins...

But my best trades in this space were days like this when I woke and the sentiment was overwhelmingly bearish (with everyone feeling the market is going much lower) and I averaged into bitc0in... (E.g 44.5k, 42.5k, 40.5k)
Almost always, 2-3 weeks down the line, I looked like a genius.... On betece it's easier cos at this stage, even if the market continues dipping, It'd very likely comeback to retest this level in few weeks...

Another advantage of buying such dips and is that when stuff reverses and those who were scared now FOMO into pupms and start telling how things are going to the moon, you'd smile, be level headed and take profits cos you bought a dip and know things don't go up in a straight line...

Go ahead. TA wise everything looks good. But Elon Musk can tweet and we dump again.

But focusing on TA alone this looks like the bounce to 100k.

Thanks I did make the order, let’s see how it goes

EPS is a coyn that has been listed for less than 8 weeks.... Ideally, one should wait for such coyns to selloff before going close...

Portfolio allocation, is an important aspect of risk management... If you don't want to buy betece, then sensibly own some majors that'd maintain structure during dips... They have less volatility and nay not pump as much but you're more likely to leave this space with profits than randomly chasing new coyns..

One thing you should remember is that every rally comes with it's new coyns... The new coyns that did well this rally would be lost the next as folls would move on... It's the major caps you're likely to hold even in dips cos you're sure it'd bounce back in time

People fail to understand that it's easier for betece to dump on a day everyone thinks its bullish and going to the moon e.g at when it was 62k than on a day when the overwhelming majority thinks it's bearish and going to nuke.....
This market does not reward fear.

Don't sell, or don't sell at a loss?

You only lose when you sell lower than you bought without buying back lower than you just sold.
