When Sardauna was killed by Coupists in 1966, Tivs were so bitter with Igbos because they thought Sardauna was their brother having offered them some positions in his northern Nigeria Govt. Many Igbos who had escaped slaughter in the far north were waylaid and slaughtered in their thousands by Tiv mobs who blocked the roads to take revenge on behalf of the 'wronged' Fulanis. Meanwhile, Fulanis derogatorily call Tiv people 'Munchi'.

When the civil war broke out, the bulk of the foot soldiers on the Nigerian side came mostly from the old Benue/ Plateau axis while the Fulanis controlled the Officer cadre led by the genocidal Murtala Mohammed and also had officers like Buhari. They were protected by not being deployed to very risky fronts.

One thing the Tivs couldn't reckon with is that the Fulanis are still angry at Tivs for ending their jihadist match to the South and they were out manoeuvred into seeing their Eastern neighbours as enemies (that's political sagacity by the Fulanis)

It's amazing that the Tivs have now become endangered species in the hands of the same Fulanis they died defending, they didn't see what those Biafrans saw in 1966

Sometime ago it was indigenes of industrial state (Ogun State) now taraba, so tell me why boys no go carry gun protect themselves.
Some thing happened in Ojo area of Lagos in btw March and May 2019/ one idiotic Aboki stabbed LASU School Marshal and soldiers protected the idiot Aboki that was how the matter died and luckily for the Marshall and with the help of his charms he survived it but he spent close to 5 months in the hospital.
When u hear about ESN respect them bcs is not easy for one to protect Hos territory against enemies bcs.both police and military has really failed them.
When I was in the missionary school years back (though I'm no more into any fuckery religion) , I was the Senior Prefect, the villagers started obtaining my boys outside the school compound and the complain became much.
I reported to the missionary management they did nothing, no meeting was conveyed to stop the nonsense. And this has never happened before how will it be under my watch.
One night we all gathered to pray as usual, immediately I came to the prayer ground, I stopped the prayer I immediately told the students the new tactics which was "if any student wants to go out, two other students will escort him and they will be on morfti while the other one will be on uniform"
So when the useless village boy/s wanted to obtained the one on uniform they wouldn't even know that they were together, and fight would start, it continued like that until the day they brought one useless village inside the.missionary compound, it was the parents of the village boy that came for his release or bail.
Though I was sanctioned for that action and my students were very very proud of me and I was proud of them, i took the whole blame and accepted the responsibility of my actions, even till date my junior students still refer me as senior prefect.
So all u e-warrior if u never witness serious crisis or issue before u won't understand how security is being done.
