I've been a victim of this twice. These events happen in that area but it used to be really rampant around Christmas period and holidays.
First was at falomo roundabout, was going to work on a Sunday morning from my friend's place. Waiting for a bus to obalende and Entered an unmarked taxi, thinking it was all those cabs that go to bourdillon but was going to obalende instead. That's how i found myself in agindigbi ikeja instead of obalende, missing my phone.

Got into that keke accident the 2nd day after.




The other time was at awolowo road in front of military hospital where I was serving.

Was coming from a side job around 10pm, was walking to the quarters, had taken piriton and was feeling drowsy walking to the hospital when an okada came from behind me and snatched my bag. I struggled but i was too drowsy. Lost important documents that night.

The police there do nothing about it, it's usually a syndicate that operates around that area. The crimes escalates during Christmas and holidays. But since the economy turned to poo under a certain vegetable in abuja. They must be more desperate.

How won't the crime rate increase when the security that are supposed to protect life's are been killed by some useless UGM

Our thinking aligned... In those days, I know how people ran into the community I lived because sars chased them. The bottom line is that, they were actually young men who become touts, agbero, area boys, awawa boys gathered and taking all sort of illicit drugs. Now, they do it openly without fear of any security agency.. If you live in Agege Area, you can bear me witness. Right from Mangoro, National, Oniwaya, Akirele, Oke-koto, Kasumu, under ridge, pencinima etc... All these places are no go area from 10pm.

At this point I hope we would be able to put things back the way they ought to be.

I guess it's high time SARS is being restored, during their time we don't use to hear rampant bad news like this. Truly Nigerians need iron hands and that dead thing that sits in Aso rock should be made to resign.

I doubt if this is a genuine piece of information. This particular handle reported this piece of information that occurred last night this morning on Twitter, I checked everywhere and no reputable news outlet reported this. My friends on the island aren't aware that such happened

Something of this magnitude wouldn't have happened in Lagos and it would go unnoticed , it would have been a trending story.

...you speak what you don't know, when people report a story verify first, I was in Lagos last week and samething happened to me I only survived by the grace of God at Ikeja airport road on my way to the airport by 5am... If I show u my face right now you will understand...we drove for more than two hours and they carted away everything I had with me, hit me forced me to open my mobile apps of my accounts, you wldnt want to hear the rest of the stories...it's bad to decline people's posts not good at all.,..the reporter is very very correct and accurate.

Everywhere is Lagos is deadly now, it happened few days ago to my cousin on his way from lekki to mainland, those guys actually told all the passenger to transfer the money in their account to one of the victim and they escorted the victim to ATM stand and withdrew all the money so that it can't be traced. It happened around past 9 and they use aboliki to ruv their face ans drop them near a canal. Once it's past 9 in some areas in Lagos na robbery, Lagos is not as secured like b4, my cousin money was 270k which he wanted to rent new apartment.

Similar thing happened to my sis yesterdaymorning. She was on her way to work around 6am and just the next street to her house, she was attacked by two guys who threatened her with knife and collected her bags with the money and ATM in it and also her phone. Then they were threatening her to give the PIN. Finally they left her. She returned home and with my younger sister phone I was called to help look for way to block her ATM cards.

Stay there and be looking for authentic news. I pray you are not their next victim before you believe and guard yourself. I stay on this exist. Yesterday by 7:30pm an SUV robbed by 2 people on bike along lekki express way and there was nothing anyone could do about it. Your security is your duty. Nowhere is safe in this country.
