After a heavy down poor two days ago. My tomatoes started acting like this. Please what's the cause and possible solution?

The leaves are going weak and then just die off

Please how do you prevent your nursery from damage as a result of heavy rainfall. As you only covered with Palm frond.

Secondly, how do you prevent damage from pests like lizards, rats, grasshoppers, crickets, etc as I cannot see any nets there.

I do the local tomatoes most times and rainfall has never been an issue this is the same way I do it,I don’t think this will make any difference

Which is part of the reason some people do their nursery during rainy season in a place with a transparent covering that allows sunlight in but prevents rainfall from getting in. Or they keep their nursery trays in a place with zinc shed and take it out in the daytime to receive sunlight when the seeds have started growing. If they notice rain about to pour, they quickly take them back into the covered area.

So I asked my question because I saw that your covering is palm frond. And this will not adequately prevent rainfall from causing damage to your nursery. So I wanted to know if there is a technique you are using to prevent rainfall damage, so I could learn from you too.

Try to uproot one plant and check the root for any nematode colonisation. Apply velum prime through drip. Works like magic

One of east west distributors said he would sell 500ml for 25k naira for just an acre. It can be applied anytime

I cant really say anything about wormforce since i have not used. Farmerakinloye6 can enlighten you more on wormforce
