You sef de fall for that Kenya picture as Rwanda grin

Meanwhile the oshodi terminal is a beauty to behold. More states should emulate that
Even if it is Kenya, it is still Africa. Isn't it?
That is enough to put sense into the OP's head, he should stop posting rubbish in comparison with more developed areas.

If he wants to praise the city, he should do that without the mediocre of a comparison.

Lagos is by far the fun/entertainment capital of Africa. Financial capital of ecowas. Maybe not over Joburg, but def over cape town. Na we (black man) get Lagos. Cape town has an off vibe...Lag is original and has its own life. Eko's verve exceeds Accra, Abidjan etc. But Miami tho?

Let's not bring places like Libreville into the convo. They mostly have small cores and are surrounded by villages pretty much.

Actually reached MIA this morning for business. My first time. Very impressed. Goes without a saying that Lag isn't as developed as here. But one thing Lagos has going for it is originality and vibrancy.

View from my room on Brickell before I stepped out today. U can tell the vibe.

And last pic is Lagos. Lagos is Lagos. It's own self. Comparing with more developed cities kinda dampens its appeal.

Mia is pretty much a financial center for LatAm and a global tourism spot. So a mismatch.

The roads are so tiny that you can barely overtake on your lane,Lagos stinks with waste and bad drainage system ,even the inhabitants are not normal
For a state which was once a capital...
Exactly.

I bet you've never been to South Africa because if you have then you'll know the steering amount of slums there even in white neighborhoods.
Every country in the world have slums, even the USA has Dozens of slums that even a poor Nigerian wouldn't want to live in ,this are some slums in USA I know
You're unreasonable joor.

Can you compare this area to slums in your region?

In term of cleanliness, this place can stand with most areas in Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Ekiti.
In terms of planning, it is only Lagos that can be compared due to the former FCT status.

Majority of the buildings in Oyo, Osun and Co are not even better than the buildings in these pictures.

Abegi!

Of all cuties in the world, you are mentioning miami in the same sentence with Lagos?
Have you ever been to south africa?
Have you ever been to Tanzania?
One of the things I've noticed about most NIGERIANS are over bloated ego fueled by lack of exposure.
Nigeria has not just the problem of corruption, most of her people need mental enlightenment.
How on earth will anyone say Lagos is fast becoming miami?
It's either you are a complete villager or you are just a complete illiterate.
Lol..the guy certainly have never left this country.... because person don buy car ( geely) no mean say im de drive machine benz

God needs to pick-up the call of OP to get one of his visa applications to be successful so he too can see MIA and never open this kind of dumb thread again.

It is more developed.

Development has many indices used in measuring it, not just amount of money made or amount of money entering it, please.

The answer to the goofy question is capital no. Lagos can never be an answer to Miami, Florida. The intellectualism of the USA and Nigeria is century apart and mannerism of the people has no similarity. I guess dreams are left for the daydreamers.
The very foolish thing is that miami is even one of the finest cities in the world....not just America...na im this one de compare ...he dint even mention Arizona or Cleveland....

You're a typical liar, no sorry for that.

I have lived in almost all states I mentioned.

Except Ogun which I have not spend much time in.

The only problem with those building is it needs renovation or let me say painting but it's definitely better than those mud houses seen in the capitals of those states I mentioned.

Prove me wrong by mentioning one state in that list that doesn't have mud houses in its capital and I will respect your opinion.

Even Lagos has mud houses, not to mention others.

Nice state bt poorly managed. It should be far better than this.

Mister I have been to Florida and seen Miami more than once and I put it to you that there is not much difference, apart from low self worth that is affecting you guys what you see has development is skyscrapers right, well China is home to over 70% of the world's skycrapers.
Miami was carved out for hotels, casinos and leisure and that is all there is to it. Apart from the fact that Lagos is like 40times bigger than Miami there is not much difference between them.

From the pictures it looks like they are all Miami shots

No. He should be considered because he has proven to be good at putting intelligent and hard working people in power. Which is what Nigeria needs desperately. You should make him a Governor of one of your yeast infected states, it might only be someone like him that can pull your region from the depths of hell that it currently resides in. If not the Boko Haram NW the SE would easily take the lowest poorest region in Nigeria award.
is it the same tinubu that fought Fashola and Ambode second term ambitions? Yes he is good at flip flopping.
Let's not forget he once said buhari should stop contesting for president and even said he doesn't believe in one Nigeria.
Who knows what he will do or say next
