OP, I believe you. My brother left Ajibade this year for a bigger firm because of money and he is regretting it. This new firm still works from home but it's so stressful. He starts work from 5am to 10pm leaving him with no time for anything including himself. Initially he planned staying with this new firm for 2 years but he has barely worked for 6months and he already wants to ditch the work for his masters in the UK. |

Belial06:Jealousy. Be happy for him and stop fooling yourself. This is normal with the professional world if the lead consultant is not greedy. Pray for God to settle you and stop being green with envy. Meanwhile, continue like this and you'll die in poverty and frustration. |

ThatPetiteChic:Hi there, trust me I know Dr. Ajibade, SAN he is a close friend to my boss and there are on several panels together. Well, that's the challenge with moving to a bigger firm because of money. Trust me, it's good to go to Aluko or Olaniwun but the problem is would you have time for yourself. Money isn't everything. |

Baami, I thank God for what he has done in your life and this is just the beginning. I'm kind of stubborn that I don't believe in luck/favor or grace, my take is you need to sweat it out before his blessings follows but seeing his story, I might be force to flip the paradigm. Finally, I'm not advising anyone to slack waiting and hope with no real effort. God no go shame us o.. |

OJURONGBE1:You don't know what your saying. My current firm pays NYSC associate 60k. Get your facts right. Who told you that Templars pays 150k for new law associates. Is it the Templars run by the Akpata's or the one you built. Go and do your research brother. Templars pays very well. Same with Aluko and Kenna Partners. My colleague who was in Aluko during NYSC earned 180k. |

Godsownchild199:You're a bloody fucking liar. Aluko & Oyebode don't pay 180k for their youth service intern. Yes, the same Templars founded by Olumide Akpata. That Adewale Atake, a partner, bagged his SANShip few years ago. That kenneth worked at before he left for postgraduate studies. The same firm Olu works in their Regulatory Compliance, Immigration & Employment. |

I did my NYSC in a reputable law firm (name withheld) in Port Harcourt. It was quite an experience both good and bad. I left the firm after service year out of frustration due to the poor leadership and mismanagement of funds by the head of office (the guy has since been fired). Mind you, my salary as a corper was 10k (the average NYSC legal associate in Lagos earned at least 5 -7 times this amount). I had depression at this point in my life.
