Thank you for your sole contribution, your comment was nice but at the point you said FOOD is expensive this is where i stand to disagree with you, ONLY THING THAT ARE EXPENSIVE HERE IS HOUSing other things are very fair. even the tap water you refuse to drink is what i have been drinking since 6months now. and the food you are complaining is what is stocked in my house. but house rent is what is killing us here nothing more...................

but everything you said is accurate but that food i disagree with you sir tha nks
Well, u may be right regarding the prices of food, but that depends on what u are eating over there. Personally i didn't like their foods so i rarely managed to have a bite of them. I ate more of cake, fruits, bread, and in some restaurant that offered something more edible for my liking and consumption. A small bottle of water was 200rwf, i mean the one that's sold for 50 naira here. There's just a place where i ate Nigeria food. The restaurant is ran by an Igbo lady from Abia state and i tell u, that lady is on money. A young lady in her early thirties but she drives 2 clean jeeps over there in Kigali. I cant remember the name of where that restaurant is now, but it was the winners pastor that took me, the pastors friend that came from Tanzania to settle in Kigali, another Igbo guy that came from Botswana and had already settled in Kigali, another Igbo guy that relocated to Kigali from Dubai and some Rwandes to go eat there. A plate of food then was about 8k rwf. I love Kigali to the extent i choose it over Europe and America and i have my reason. And mind u, before any one come under my comment to attack me, i have been to EU and US, so i have my reason which is best known to me. Thanks.

Dear OP, it'd be of great help if you can talk on the education system there. How much is needed for undergraduate degree and other necessary info

for undergrad.

you need just your Waec and Testimonial
...........................................................................
for MSc you need your transcript and other docments

i will be talking about undergrad, because thats what am doing here, you need the two report i mention above plus police report, which 10,000 naira in nigeria. and admission fee of 31,000 RWF which is 16,000 naira within 3 days your admission letter will be ready you go for your covid test and book your ticket,

NB>>>>> as a student you are booking one way ticket only....

then when coming here come with all your original documents and dont forget anyone at all....

every school in rwanda kigali is 3years for undergrad and 2years for MSc

for undergrad, you have 3semesters yearly and your school fees for that whole year is just 350,000 naira

sorry i cant say much about MSc because am not in that field , maybe will ask my friend about it tho.

handout is free.
the only thing you owe the school is your fees

student visa here is 13,000 naira....

RWANDA IS A VISA FREE TO NIGERIAN PASSPORT HOLDERS .... ONCE YOU ARRIVE KIGALI YOUR 30 DAYS START RUNNING so you have to make sure you get your student visa or business visa, before it runs out.

educations is stress free. but you need to study to be at the top. so dont expect it to be as rosely as you think. as a student you are free to do anything , do business . with your student permit you can goto kenya and tanzania and other east africa countries thanks

for more informations.

You wouldn't leave a country and a place that offered you a better life and opportunities to a place that offers you the opposite, would you? To answer your question simply, why do people leave Nigeria to other countries of the world? Your answer to this question is the exact reason why those people left those countries to Kigali. The man who came from Tanzania is a medical doctor who had lived in Tanzania for many years and even married from there, but according to him, he felt Kigali offers him a more better life and opportunities. The truth is, you wouldn't be in Kigali and not fall in love with that city, and the country of Rwanda. Thanks.

Nice, I used to think Botswana is way better than Rwanda, not so sure about Tanzania even though it's way bigger in size compared to Rwanda. As we all know, it's usually a case of big country, big challenges.

Yes, it does, and I said this with every sense of sincerity and honesty. I asked the pastor in charge of Winnerss chapel church I met there the country he would like to move to should he decide to start his own ministry, and without wasting time he said. KIGALI RWANDA. He said he won't go to America or Europe but Kigali. Kigali is like a virgin land and untapped opportunities abounds every where there. Thank you.

Success of a country isn't determined by size but by having visionary leaders who have the interest of the country and her citizens at heart. Botswana is good and so also other countries, but my take is. If where you are presently isn't giving you what you want and you ain't sure whether your future would be secured there, then it won't be bad to seek to move or to try other places. Some people have made it big in Nigeria too, so the whole thing boils down to where you have a better opportunities, where you think and believe your goals would be achieved. I met some other brothers from Nigeria in KIGALI who have traveled wide to other countries of the world. I took interest in one particular brother from Abia state. This guy had been to several countries in Europe, Asia, middle east and some other African countries, but he told me that KIGALI is his home. He did all kinds of fraud in those other countries he lived before, but he said he will never involve himself in a fraud in KIGALI because KIGALI is his home, so he can never pollute it. He said he will go out to other countries, bring money and come back to KIGALI and invest it. In fact he has a son with a Rwandan lady. So if where you are isn't giving you what you want, then the better thing for you to do is to move. Not every one in US and Europe is making it in those places. In fact presently there are some guys in America that are planning of relocating to KIGALI. Also remember that there are so many Europeans, Asians and Americans in KIGALI RWANDA and they are there to do business and some of them are working there too. Infact they are more in majority than Africans of other countries living in KIGALI, apart from Congo and Burundi. So it hugely depends on where favour finds u. Thank you.
