He insisted that all alcoholic drinks of whatever nature are been barred from entering Kano or selling and consumption of it and anybody found violating the rules will face the law. Kano Government barred alcoholic drinks for the interest of Kano people heaven don’t fall. Now southern governors banned open grazing, disallowing herders to use their cows to destroy farmers plants. This banned on open grazing is for the interest of southern people. But northerners are foaming in the mouth as if heaven want to fall, they threatened southern executive governors for making decision for the interest of southern people. Operating parallel laws against the Nigeria constitution Restricting the freedom of association of citizens with legal drinks of their choice Restricting the freedom of movement of citizens who can not move to public areas in north simply because they are in possession of legal drinks Unlawful apprehension and destruction of legal business of mostly Southerners that do not harm, kill or destroy people/property I can go on with the numerous laws that have been broken by northernerns here yet the southern governors don't dictate how their region should be run even though north gets VAT from Alcohol of other states But what is the business of barren Northerners with the laws of southern states where herdsmen don't pay VAT yet destroy the farmlands of those paying TAX including staging their kidnap? The laws of the land should always be respected. If the law says no alcohol, then the business men should respect that. If it also says no open grazing, it should also be respected regardless of whatever zone. I dont understand why the north think its okay to make their laws and it isnt okay for others too.
