Who will be maintaining them?
Can it last more than 1yr?

Well, I like this development...

What a pity, Anambra haven't get the will for the installation of this level of security equipment in government hospitals and schools.

The only progressive state in Nigeria. It’s same lag blueprint which convince Nigerians to vote for that Daura Demon. But sadly he’s disappointed even his backers.

This is very likely a waste of money because all other things that need to be in place to support this are not in place, except you can tell me that:

- Lagos has a form of facial recognition software
- lagos has a comprehensive database of plate numbers and who the owners of these plate numbers are and where they reside ( most people use fake addresses for vehicle license and drivers license reg and even if correct have moved once or twice and addresses never updated)
- lagos has locations of all police vehicles on patrol via GPS and can immediately deploy from the control center to deal with any issue.
- that we even have a statewide or national emergency number that links directly to the control center.

You made a point, but i believe this is a good starting if good maintenance and sustainability is put in place. Rome was not built in a day.

Power by solar. Using access points to multi points to connect all the cameras and a router to access them through NVR and monitors ( they are IP cameras)

That is the problem,. Lack of maintenance culture. Where are the ones installed throughout Lagos by Fashola? White Elephant projects; millions of dollars wasted.

your comments these days are very impressive
just political no bigotry.
we at gbegile company are currently discussing placing your account (s) on a NCPP (no cancellation probation period)
it means might stop cancelling your comments but we'll still monitor comments.
if after a period of time you pass our probation we'll renegotiate your contract terms and termination.
keep it up
Gbegile company is not after people with different political opinion but after trolls and bigots smiley

Nice one.
But if the aim is to actually catch criminals and lock them away for good, why announce such ?
Banks didn't announce that they have CCTV installed in their premises yet everyone single person knows. So whether they announce or they don't, everyone will know.
