An English teacher of some sort.

My folks said that was a waste of intelligence, that no one deliberately applies to study English in the university. lipsrsealed

Your folks are correct, i feel uneasy seeing really intelligent people working as teachers because of the generally accepted average pay.

Money is reward for work, so why waste your intelligence on a meagre pay when you can make more.

I decided to be an Accountant during JAMB registration, no drive really, Just to work and earn money.

I used to be an Artist, draw, paint etc. I thank God i didn't use that talent. The pay is little and it involves a lot of work.

I'm glad I found out i can develop passion in different areas. A lot of people have passion for what doesn't generate any money.

Some people have passion for dancing, please how much can dancing get you?! undecided

Have you ever wondered how people like Messi who can do wonders with their legs live during 1200 AD or even Before Death of Christ.

Their talent would have been utterly useless because it wasn't useful, the plan is to find something useful and rewarding to do and turn it into your passion. Period!

It's not always a meagre pay, though. There are levels to these things. I believe passion would always make a person stand out.

But what's the point? There are a million teachers with meagre pay. So we can't be happy because a few thousands that are passionate about it and are doing exceptionally well.

For example, we generally have more accountants do better than teachers, so if i have anyone good with numbers i will encourage them to be an accountant, albeit an average one, they will still succeed. They can be teaching others accounting in their spare time as their passion.

Being exceptional passionate is just too overrated in my opinion.

At childhood we all have that dream career we wished and aspired to become at adulthood.

Some of us wanted to become a doctor, nurse, pharmacist, radiologist, surgeon, engineer, banker, economist, agriculturist, politician, pilot, journalist, athlete, pastor, fashion designer, educationist, scientist, a soldier, navy, airforce, e.t.c.

As for me my childhood dream career was to become a PILOT but today am an ECONOMIST.

What about you?
