If it is GTB you can request for MyBankStatement through the internet banking app and you will get the certificate containing the ticket number / password in your mail.

I don't have much info on other banks, most banks will attend to you by visiting a branch and explain that you need to send your statement to Canadian embassy through this route. They will send you the certificate containing the ticket number / password in your mail.

It is this MyBankStatement certificate containing the ticket number / password that you will upload for your application.

The other one is Ecobank which I could not figure out how to do that on their app unlike gtb is just one touch and I have it.

Are they using this thing to check our sitting balance or what? Because the one I generate is more or less an authorization to have access to our account. It has ticket number and password.

It was the Lagos office that replied me. I told them I've completed all the requirements since but I haven't gotten any update. I applied on March 31 and completed NSE requirements by April 19 including biometric and medical since last year August.

Hi @Teeprecious, raising a webform is sufficient enough to inform IRCC of your new development but on the contrary, it is also at your own discretion to send via email, if you choose too. Personally, I will send also via Email but like i said, it is up to you. I hope this helps??

I want to scream to heaven and thank God! I always wondered how it felt when people got the mail. Omo it is surreal! I was still tapping into Lianna2020's grace when i read her profile not knowing my own don come. Good to have you here on the student thread. I don't know if I clearly understand PA's situation here, but the implication of enrolling as a part-time student may impact PA's PGWP application in the long run.

If PA enrolls as a part-time student, the study or PA's academic status will no longer be considered as full-time.

Whether or not PA has yet to get the visa, all academics done online from outside Canada until December 31, 2021, upon approval or pending approval will be entered in the academic transcript.

The courses enrolled and taken as part-time will reflect so. PA should kindly reconfirm from the DLI so they can reaffirm that the already registered courses were noted as full-time or what the deal is.

30k CAD (inclusive of tuition fee) is enough for a self sponsored applicant going for a 1 year program. If you're going for 2 years program, funds available must cover the entire 2 years duration. I'm estimating a little above 55k cad for you, or you provide a convincing explanation in regards to where the fund for your second year will come from. This is just an opinion.

1. Yes I PDF the documents into one PDF for each section. After combining I compressed to meet the specifications

2. The tenancy agreement mentioned is for my sponsor with his tenant, to show source of income (I mentioned in my sop that most of the funds for my school will come from his rental income)

3. No, but I used sub headings like Why MBA, why Canada, family etc

Hello everyone, submitted my application April 23rd and NSE request followed 26th. Decided to ignore it and sent them a message via web form to process my application normally without NSE.
NSE deadline was yesterday May 27th but I noticed a ghost update on the 23rd. Please does this mean that they have started reviewing my application?

Hi Teeprecious, I would like to know when you did your capturing pls and how you were contacted for pickup. I also renewed and I’ve been waiting on it since forever as the passport on my application will expire by Oct.

I got an sms and also a call telling me to come to NIS to pick up.

I did for Ecobank and you can't just process it except you walk into the banking hall. Tell them you want to generate your statement for Canadian embassy. They will ask for period and authorize the statement certificate containing your ticket number and password. This is what you need to upload when you are submitting your application. I wish you all the best.

Fixed deposit is an acceptable proof of fund; however, I'm not sure if MyBankStatement certificate can be generated for it. If you're unable to generate the certificate, submit a stamped statement and maybe a bank reference letter. It's all good.
