Please how is life in University of Hull as a student ? does it favor students? how is accommodation and cost of living there and lastly are there job opportunities for students?

The speed of response to an application does not determine the quality or otherwise of a school, 2 years ago I submitted an application to the best school in Ireland for an MSc, I got an unconditional offer that same day, most times it depends on the quality of your application and the documents submitted by you, for UK I have gotten offers in less than 3 days in top tier universities

we Africans, especially Nigerians are most times overthinking things, them give you admission in three days, you smell rat, they refuse to give admission for over a month in some peoples case " they're too slow" well, it's good to try and make sense of things most times shaa, but some of the information you need regarding the school, you could have got online or ask here. Abeg research them well o, make you nor go where you nor go fit make money pay your bills o if at all

How did you correct your DOB on the letter of attestation? I was at WAEC office last week and I was told it’d still bear the wrong age

In my case the DOB on my waec certificate is also wrong, I was given a conditional offer by “Sheffield Hallam University and was asked to provided evidence from WAEC to show the DOB is wrong, i tried to correct it on my certificate but WAEC said it’s no longer possible, so I settled for a letter of Attestation instead (with the correct DOB) and an affidavit which I’m about to send. - I believe the school will likely accept the letter of Attestation and Affidavit but like the original poster, I’m worried if they will accept the same when applying for visa....

I will really appreciate any insight - @justwise and every other distinguished contributors.

Please can date of birth on BVN or NIN really affect immigration decision considering if it's different from the DOB on the passport.....DOB on passport and waec are same but dift from that on BVN

He wrote Standard Application there already..

Basically all the questions u ll b asked shall b in the template the sch ll send to you after you've booked for the interview.

The IHS page is telling me that my fee is $1037 as against the $1006
Plz any help?

IHS cant be 940 for 2 years, its 1yr - 470+235 = £705
18months - 470+ 470/2 + 235 = £940
2yrs - 470*2 +235 = £1175

Go and gate crash if you are in lagos, don't know about Abj. Go there as early as you can. Proceed to make payment and start calling this number 09092156079, if a lady's voice biko cut and try the other numbers you will see on their board at the gate. Make sure you ve enough credit and explain to the man you can't wait till when they have available appointments as you are resuming soon, he will tell you he can'tdo anything but keep calling to plead. Also don't forget to print out your admission letter. I did the same for me and my family and we got appointment for the next day. All the best

I applied for ATAS and got it within the stipulated time. You will definitely get it. So, I’ll advise you proceed with what else can be done.

Please when i submitted my ATAS certificate application , it displayed submitted on the portal, but wasn’t sent any confirmation email indicating i submitted ...is this normal? Just a bit worried and does it usually come on or before the said 20 working days ?

I see no disadvantage in it, I am going in for a one year program starting this September and can't wait to finish, so I can switch to work visa because personally I truly can't imagine myself at the present doing a 2 year masters program!

I studied Biochemistry but I have been admitted to a one year intensive software engineering and business management certificate program here in Nigeria so I think for me to really switch up fully, I have to have a degree in the field hence I cannot afford to make any mistake.

BVN & NIN are not required. Don't include them in your application except u decide you won play Baba Ijebu with it
