EdoDefence:Stupid attention seeker, I know what you want is for Igbos to be quoting you because you'll feel vindicated from arguing with Almighty Igbo race, because it's a privilege for a person from an insignificant inferior tribe to be arguing with his superior, if not for that ,you should see clearly where the op said the Igbos are not dragging any ND minority tribe with them |

OfoIgbo: Actually, I expect Ibibios to be able to form a great nation. They have the right temperament for that. They gave Biafra some badass administrators like NU Akpan and of course Obong Efiong.Besides Igbo, there is no other ethnic nationality in Nigeria closer to my heart than Ibibio and Annang. Maybe it has to do with close relationship my father had with characters from Ibibio and Annang. I do not about AU Akpan but Philip Efiong was Annang. You had thank Ndigbo for tagging along with Ibibio and Annang including the Ijaw of eastern region. Most of anybody who is somebody from these ethnic groups were student of Government College, Umuahia. Ndigbo pushed AU Akpan as the secretary of eastern regional government before he was seconded to Biafra. You should give much credit to Igbo people who allowed the minorities to stride in eastern region unlike other regions in the country. |

bjdon:Your analysis is theoretical...I doubt if you have to travel to Edo State for the last five years....the rate of poverty in this State is in geometric progression...Among all the crude oil region States, Edo State is one of those at the lowest ebb. Aside from your rich culture and some natural resources, I don't think there are any other good things Edo State is known for. Common to think of it...if Edo State state on their own, how will its feed its citizens? How will he grow his economy when crude oil prices fall? How would it improve its social amenities or infrastructure,? How will it pay the salary of millions of workers in its payrolls without borrowing? What will be a currency? What will be their military and paramilitary architecture? What will be their religious ideologies? What will be their official language? By the UN prescription, Edo state cannot carry the weight of becoming a nation....it is too weighty for them to carry....and the best region they can associate with is Yoruba State because if they merge with Igbo State, Igbo will want to dominate and indoctrinate every minority tribe among them...as they did during the civil war... |

OfoIgbo:Recovering Bakassi Peninsula will be a delight for us, I have strong optimism with Ipob alliance with Ambazonia, Such relationships can open doors for Diplomatic maneuvers and compromise. I'm from Cross River and strongly believe we can get Bakassi back easier with help of Ibos, In case of there's a military assault by French or Ambazonia.... Then we can stand a chance. |

jerseyboy:And what is happening today with southern Cameroon today ? Bro please free that story, you have no idea about it. It's a very sad one. My mum is Bamileke, and what happened in 1961 is a British scheme. When Southern Cameroon voted to leave eastern govt in 1961 did anyone harass the people? But look at the menace Paul Biya has brought on the people. Despite all this yet ibo people still contributed to growth of Amba land until the recent crises. My dad is cross river, I grew up Cameroon. It's not what it seems. Ibo have their own issues but they are not the problem to anyone not Ambazonia. That's why Amba are going in alliance with them. A lot has really changed |

Owologbo:In a way he's right. What connects a yako or efik and Annang man in Cross River and Akwa Ibom to an itsekiri, ijaw or Ogoni.....have you ever thought of the geographical set up? Let's not talk about economy, Secondly, there's no biafra yet. The idea of agreement is like counting your chicken before they're hatched |

ivandragon:Brother I don't think there will ever be a Niger delta map. This is me being real, There's no movement within the SS. I have seen people talk about Edo Nation but not about a SS republic |

Daveconsult007:If Cross River and the Igbos end up in the same nation, I am 100% certain the Biafran government will bring back Bakassi peninsula, by war or diplomacy. It is inconceivable that any Biafran government will let that matter lie. |

ggood:There's a few Igbo villages near the boundaries with abia along Imo River They're called Ndoki people. They're in Ukanafun Local Government Area specifically in a village called Oha Obu). They used to be in Aba division in the '60s with larger Ndoki tribe but today state created has split them into Rivers Abia and Akwa-Ibom They were ceded to then South Eastern state after boundary readjustment of the military regime in 1976. Read up Nasir boundary tribune. I know this the man marrying my sister hails from there, I never believed it until someone from their told me |

OfoIgbo:It gladdens my heart for such to happen. The indigenes of Bakassi Peninsula are also making moving for biafra too. They've their own biafra group and they're very armed. They've engaged Paul Biya's Occupational Forces in the land. Under international law biafra has a legitimate case, due to the fact that they did not recognize any treaty or deal with Nigeria and Cameroon. That Peninsula was administered by Eastern Nigeria till 1967. |

Daveconsult007:All these tribes you named above doesn't have any language they share as one, but culturally they are closed. Now take a look at Nigeria with three major ethnic groups which is good for check and balance but we are still complaining of oppression. Now imagine all these small small tribes been in a country where only one tribe is majority (the Igbos). Who will check there excesses (the Igbos)? Now, let's look at just SS States; no one can Lord over the other. Even the SS with it's many tribes is still better than the present nigeria (we are all minorities, we have two major religion, our culture close). |
