Guys please I need your candid advice here. I am a lady and i want to own a Redmi phone but I have a budget of N80,0000. Which phone would you advice I buy? I might get a game or two but mostly i use my phone for work emails, browsing etc...I want something that doesn't hang cos I'm going to be accessing lots of documents, I also want it sleek too....4G or 5g (hides face), Dual SIM, plenty space, good battery life etc...
Please help....your criticisms are highly welcome.

Redmi note 10

Please everyone I need advice, I intend to buy redmi note 10 4/64g , but someone brought a very neat fairly used Hauwei P30 for 70k for me and another Samsung A70 for 70k also, so am confused in what to buy now, either to buy a new redmi 10, or one of the fairly used hauwei p30 or Samsung A70, please advise, thanks

The P30 is not bad, but it has few cons as most second hand phones do. If you are cool with that, then you are good to go. If your needs can all be met by Redmi note 10 then go with it. The P30 is a better offering though than the Redmi note 10. The A70 is not even a choice.

P30 at 70k is really fishy to me. In the end it is left for you.

Lmao, the x3pro is way ahead, even in terms of image stabilization while shooting in 4k,not to talk of the elephant in the room which is the processor, the difference between the camera is not noticeable, as for the design it all comes down to choice.
The only aspect I can agree the rdnote wins is in display and even at that some people run from amoled because of screen burn.

Camera samples I've seen shows that the Redmi is miles ahead. Even the 4k video, although lacking stabilization, colour and sharpness is better on the Redmi. For design, except person like plastic back, fat phone, then he can go for the Poco. The Redmi design is way more premium. The processor got hot in gaming at max settings on the Poco

The only edge the note has over x3pro is the display, the note also has a slightly better back camera but it is not even noticeable, in terms of raw performance the note is a joke compared to the x3pro.
Designs are similar to some extent, headphone Jack on the note is on top of the phone, the back camera set up on the poco is slimmer and nicer.
The poco is more thick and hefty than the note, and it has a slightly better battery too,100mah ahead.

The battery of the Poco is slightly bigger but not better. It's actually poor compared to the Redmi Note 10 pro. The Redmi lasts more than the poco

Person want to sell Redmi note 8 for 80k, I don't want to know the storage capacity. When Note 9s, Note 9 pro fresh like new and new baby Note 10 with Amoled display for that price dey Xiaomi thread store. Do your ground work before you carry your phone enter market. Anyway, I knew some of my people go fall for this.

Is there a way one can permanently stop xiaomi ad on a xiaomi device?

This is really annoying, imagine playing a music and you minimise the music player only for you to start hearing advert being played.

Guys why's the redmi note 7 still expensive.

Which player are you using? All ads on stock apps can be stopped from in-app settings > turn off recommendation. Any other ad is as a result of an installed 3rd party app.

Go to the compilation thread the solution is there. Anything outside that check your third party apps.

Or use adguard private DNS.

Thanks for the heads up, have disabled ad on the music player, I'll check and see how it goes.

honestly it was annoying, I was even thinking of getting another device or probably flash a custom rom.

Why do you think Xiaomi phones are cheap?

The profit they don't make on the hardware they augment it by selling ads.

It has and always been it is even better now. If the ads happen outside the MIUI Apps check the third party apps you have installed.

Any advert outside MIUI Apps isn't from Xiaomi.
