Also happened in the north under Jonathan when BH attacks were rampant.

Passengers would have to walk past checkpoints with hands raised in the air. Bikers would have to walk past checkpoints pushing their bikes. Later bikers might be banned from carrying passengers.

The Igbo will never tell their children how they massacred other tribes during the civil war. They called for it and so shall they get it. Nobody bring war to its territory except a coward. America will rather take the war to your dormant so that the destruction can happen there.

This is not new especially to people from the north. Northerners went through this for years. There's nothing wrong with it as they are there for everyone's safety. Only terrorists will be scared of this.
This is what happens at check point. The person that will mistakenly receive a call in this area will regret he ever lived.

That's what happens when you have terrorist among you. It's nothing new. That's what happens in the North east. Even in Kano in 2011- 2023 when boko haram attacks were happening. Welcome to the club.

Don't dignify such people with responses.

In an attempt to stop the heinous activities of the Unknown Gun Men and attacks on the Military, all passengers are being ushered out of the vehicles to raise up their hands as they walked past their check points. This is happening right now on the Owerri-Onitsha Highway
GOOD ONE. SINCE THAT IS WHAT THE PEOPLE OF THE EAST WANT. THEY WERE ALL JUBILATING ON THE SIGHT OF UNKNOW GUN MEN WALKING DOWN THE STREET INSTEAD OF THEM TO CONDEM THEIR ATROCITIES. KEEP ENJOYING IT...

It’s a way to humiliate an obedient people. Soldiers who could not dare do that in Boko Haram infested Borno or Adamawa state.
They know how the Igbo fight when they are deeply provoked; for now, Nigeria armed forces are having a field day in Igbo land unchallenged. The unknown gunmen they say they are looking for in Igbo land are most likely to be Islamic terrorists.

Thank God for the peace in Lagos. I pray these people used to cause troubles, and even those who should assist these people take action. If one of these boys is a son of a militant or bandit, and they launch attack on these military guys, we will all be cursing bandits. Ibos better take care of their region before it is too late.

I knew it will get to this end. And if the NA could not discover armed men through this process, they may start killing travelers randomly and tag them UGM just to show to their bosses that they are working and also as a form of scape-goating.

Some deaths are avoidable. Why would someone be on the highway and laughing while at it during this period. As if it is a joke.

The civilians are so disrespected in Nigeria.

Anything in uniform immediately feels that they are better than a civilian.

This is not the case in civilized countries.

Military era has long gone. Our military, especially, need to be reorientated on their roles and responsibilities to the populace in a democratic setting.

Beautiful.
Our Galant Northern Soldiers and Police are doing a great job.
They must be treated like criminals since they are supporting crimes.

Once they swim in red mud, it would wash off some of the juju Kanu used on them.
