I see alot of Yoruba dudes in this eastern thread today trying by all means to contribute to the trending topic of Biafra day....They discredit anything Biafra like as if their lifes depend on it....They are so diligent in making their feelings known on Biafra thread as if they are paid to do so....I did a research and arrived at the conclusion as to why people who have shown so much hatred for south easterners suddenly profess such love and concern towards Biafra.
1) They see themselves as 2nd class citizens and easterners as 3rd class citizens in the current arrangements of Nigeria,so if the easterners break away it leaves them at the bottom of the food chain with the fulas on top hence the fight to make sure Biafra never comes
2) They are paid by the northerners in the present govt to discredit the struggle and dissuade people from sypathasing with Biafra inorder to mentain the status quo for them to have unlimited access to oil revenues in the south.
3) They see the doggedness in most easterners and niger deltans and they know if these people have indepence they would leave them behind and people will realize who the real lazy people are in Nigeria.
4) Some have been short changed or beaten hands down by ibo previously in their various endeavors in life hence the hatred towards this people.
5) Some have been turned down before by the naturally pretty girls in the east and they bear that pain in their heart till this day towards anything ibo.
6) Many more please add your let us figure out this sudden concern from our brothers in the west who have abandoned their numerous problems and have focused their attention in the east as if their life depends on Biafra coming or not.

Nnamdi Kanu is fighting a good course especially if you consider how Buhari is marginalizing the Igbos. But, the way he is fighting it is wrong. He went into hiding and be instigating our youths to go get killed.

Nelson Mandela fought for SA independence, he didn't lead his people to go and get killed in war.

I've never seen ppl who don't want to know, who never tried to know but accept all lies feed to their head like u ppl. You see what is happening in the South-East had exactly happened in NE. When BH had strong base in Maiduguri city, soldiers and police became prey, they're killed on daily basis untill they're given order to use all necessary force to bring down the situation. NIGERIAN army are know for using force more than intelligence but this doesn't mean they don't have strong intelligence officers (you'll know they've when the war starts except if u insist the culprits are innocent). Riding bike was banned, ppl were made to raise their hands on streets especially close to check points (the logic is to prevent attack from motors), curfew was imposed from evening to morning. After these steps, they started asking the elders and youth to cooperate in fishing out the terrorists when they refused to cooperate the army killed all youth around the area they're attacked irrespective of their numbers, when the elders learnt their children were going to extinction they started cooperating and BH became furious and consider everyone as their enemy. Thousands youth were gruesomely killed for the hypocrisy of few who refused to fish out criminals from them in Borno. All what NA achieved at Sierra Leone and Liberia were by excessive force and genocide not intelligence.

Sentiment aside why do you think bh has enough followership up north? It because of the way Nigerian military operates. They believe in brutish force to quell uprising, those who are victims had to join the enemy as a last resort. Btw I don't support the use of violence as a means to an end because it's the locals that will suffer while those who supply the fund who are actually the cause of the problem are untouched
