That's what you think, that Jesus is a man, which is precisely what those who are unconsciousness would claim, though in their minds they think they are conscious.

There is nothing like pure consciousness! And that is why you have the Jesuses, the Moseses, the Thanoses, the Isises, the Spaghetti Monsters, Russell with his Tea Pot, and the Gods in general etc, showing you how we humans at different times create Gods, and consciousness historically increases, which is how we gradually evolve our understanding and consciousness.

But I guess that's not to be seen by all since some are most definitely unconscious!

Hopefully, that person will note the sort of silicon you just might indeed be because you are very far from becoming a chip.

So why are you disturbed over a "dead man". Why so much trouble over such unnecessary being.

That one is really good at talking too much towards talking nonsense.

That you make use of a word such as "God" doesn't mean you create any specific thing/object with a specific form.
God can't even exist as a feeling.
The word "God" doesn't refer to anything that really exists.
The word "God" is a word that has nothing to do with reality.
It has to do with fake stories which involve fake characters with false meaningless pictures.
There's no picture that really shows any God.

The talk of divinity is rubbish.

HappyPagan, did you understand the analogy at all?

Care to explain it to this individual?
Re: There Is No Power In Jesus by HappyPagan: 11:24am On Jun 02, 2021
budaatum:

First, other Gods are not useless to me. Because that would be like saying Python is the only programming language that is useful and all other programmings are useless. And that brings me to my second point.
Well, some programming languages could be quite useless in a specific field. Can't use Python in a web browser (front-end).

budaatum:

Those to whom "God, Jesus, Holy Spirit" mean something to are like computer chips that are programmed to read the language of "God, Jesus, Holy Spirit", and if they are not first programmed to read the language of "God, Jesus, Holy Spirit" you will have a gigo situation, as we are seeing with you, forgive me for saying, for it is very obvious that you lack even a fundamental understanding of what "God, Jesus, Holy Spirit" might imply.
If they are 'programmed', then obviously they have no understanding of what they do. They can only act as their program tells them. And if the program is garbage, so will be their output, no matter how pretty and comforting the UI may look.

budaatum:

Unlike a computer chip that is inanimate silicon, humans are endowed with brains with which they are meant to seek for understanding, if they want any that is, but when a human being behaves like silicon waiting to be programmed, it is just showing the lack of the brain that is the mind in its head.
Exactly.

budaatum:

You used the word "mean", Happy, so clearly do not mean mindless belief. And by "mean", you must mean the meaning that you give to those words "God, Jesus, Holy Spirit", unless you mean what others tell you as if you have not got a mind of your own. And I happen to have immense faith and belief that you can give better meaning to those words if you were bothered and if you tried than, "Three nails killed him. He died a virgin. His mom was a virgin.. if Jesus lived today, we would call him a mad man.... Why do you still call on this dead Jewish man when he has so obviously failed... He even promised to come back.. yet 2020 years later, no show", or you'd have much better things to be doing with your time, I would have thought, than to be wasting it here on threads you create to inform us of what means nothing to you than threads about the things that do mean something to you.
I am not Christian. I can only derive 'meaning' for these words from those who claim to know this meaning, those who claim to be Christ-like and all. I don't care if they are 'true' representatives or not, that's for the pastors and preachers who guide them.

So whatever I 'attack' here, is whatever brand of 'Christinsanity' I am exposed to constantly as a Southern Nigerian. There are more churches in my neighborhood than hospitals, libraries and parks combined. Every little space has some pastor or church evangelizing to other church members. If the Christians were better, maybe I'd upgrade these 'meanings'.

budaatum:

And this brings me back to my first point again. Knowing about Zeus, and Thanos, and Osiris, and the Spaghetti Monster, and Russell's Tea Pot, and Allah, and "God, Jesus, Holy Spirit" etc are of immense value in understanding the humans who create them, because it shows how the silicon works and would make one a better programmer of it.
Oh, I hear you... but you don't need to know all Gods to tell a bullshit story....

There is no trouble here actually, except you create one. We are only talking.

What will you advise a man that kept spending time and using energy on what he doesnt believe in or what add nothing to him?
I am sure you will call him to find out what his issue is.

This is your case here and summed up as below

You are like a man who doesnt believe in working for someone but kept surfing the net daily for job openings, submitting CV for job application, join job forums and attending interviews just for the aim of telling his interviewer/employer he doesnt believe in working for someone.

Isnt it a waste of time, just asking?

This is why i assume your runs arent ordinary. I know an intelligent person like you will not be wasting and whiling away time on what doesnt profit him. But you are doing that on a religion that is a fiction to you. Dont you think you need to ask yourself some questions?

Which is why I specifically described Gods as programming languages, instead of Python alone, because as Christ is written to have taught, "Those who program in python alone will be inadequate and limited programmers!"

HappyPagan:

If they are 'programmed', then obviously they have no understanding of what they do. They can only act as their program tells them. And if the program is garbage, so will be their output, no matter how pretty and comforting the UI may look.
And, yes, most have no understanding of what they do, but that alone does not mean the program is garbage, but that the programming book of God, Jesus, Holy Spirit is a very big book that many never ever read as books are meant to be read, from page one all the way page by page to the very last page, but jump around in the book instead and claim they read it. And some don't even read it but are simply led by the blind who lead them.

I do not think it is intelligent to deduce that Things Fall Apart is garbage because a reader jumps about in it or does not understand it, or was told what it is about without reading it themselves. And even after reading Things Fall Apart, they may misunderstand it and merely believe Okonkwo really did really strike Ikemefuna dead.

Those who read it and do the work to understand it are not just programmed, Happy, they become programmers!

HappyPagan:
I am not Christian. I can only derive 'meaning' for these words from those who claim to know this meaning, those who claim to be Christ-like and all.
Really, Happy? You can only derive knowledge of programming from other programmers around you instead of learning programming for yourself and blaizing trails?

It is a common mistake I daresay. I myself became an atheist at 12 years old which is when I finished my first reading of the entire King James Bible. My first language was English so I guess my understanding was rather different to my peers who would bully me for stating what I understood. It didn't help too that I had by then learnt a lot about the ancient Greek and Roman and Egyptian Gods as enforced by the British education system that had by then evolved from indoctrinating religion to teaching about gods, which kind of gave a different understanding about gods in general. My reasoning for abandoning the gods was, if God is how it it understood by those around me, I buda piss on your all of your gods! Good thing is one never loses ines understanding.

No, Happy, you can not only "derive 'meaning' for these words from those who claim to know this meaning, those who claim to be Christ-like and all", just as you will not derive an understanding of programming just from other programmers, unless you are lazy of course, or don't care whether you are a competent or a sloppy programmer!

If you want to understand, as in derive meaning for yourself, you know you must do your own program learning and a lot of research. Basically, the more you ask and knock and seek with all your heart and soul and mind and being the better programmer you are likely to become. Or is not so that study and research makes for a Happy programmer?

I call it the Gospel of Use the Senses Eve, as opposed to that of Naked Ignorant Enslaved Adam, but I will leave that story till you are interested.

HappyPagan:
I don't care if they are 'true' representatives or not, that's for the pastors and preachers who guide them.
I am sorry, but if you do not care then you will not be wasting your time reading this nor will you respond to what people write in the thread you created because I really do not see you as a timewaster who will open a thread to discuss what you do not care about!

I get your logic. The programmers around you are crap and sloppy so programming is rubbish and useless and you don't need to learn programming yourself because, I mean, after all, it's not as if you can be any better a programmer than all the sloppy and crappy programmers you are surrounded by. As for the stories. Smart folks know Things Fall Apart is a lot more than Okonkwo striking Ikemefuna dead just as "God, Jesus, Holy Spirit" is a mere four words describing millions of entities and ideas in a book of a thousand pages.

You might not follow Christian threads but you sure do create threads that specifically invite Christians so its rather odd that you'd be complaining when Christians poke their noses in your thread and give you wahala, don't you think?
