Hello ! I applied to Vilnius university some few weeks back and i uploaded all the necessary documents but they requested for a post secondary certificate and i uploaded the certificate for the A-level program i did at a University here in Nigeria but this afternoon i got an email saying i was still rejected because there is no proof for post secondary education.

below is the copy of the message i got from the school:

Dear Obafemi Oludahunsi,

Thank you for applying to Vilnius University. After carefully reviewing your application, we regret to inform you that we cannot accept you to the programme Software Engineering.

The decision was made after the evaluation of your educational background and recognition of foreign academic qualification.

One of the requirements for Bachelor level applicants is to provide documents that can verify post-secondary education of at least one academic year. The specific requirements are listed on our website Since Vilnius University is a research university and we do not offer any preparation or foundation courses, we are expecting applicants to have academic experience of one year at the Polytechnic/Institute/University in their home countries.

Due to this reason, your application to Vilnius University has been rejected.

The Admissions office appreciates the time you invested in your application. We encourage you to finish post-secondary education and apply to Vilnius University next year. We also wish you every personal and academic success!

Sincerely,

Toma Limontaitė
Admissions Officer
Vilnius University

Please who knows of any school in Lithuania that accepts students from Nigeria without Post secondary education??

You should have uploaded your transcript.not certificate.either year 1 or year 2 transcript from your university.

Hello everyone,
Did anybody have to do an interview with Lithuania university of health sciences?

Please I need help with this, in terms of likely questions and anything that can help with the interview process.

Thank you.

Free your mind. It's all about your "why". Why did you choose the country, school, course. What you know about the country. Be happy while you answer, I literally had fun talking with the professor, and she made decision just an hour later on my conditional admission.

Alhamdulillah

I hope that helps

Guys, Is Siaullai okay for part time job opportunities?
Re: Lithuania Student Visa by Nobody: 6:22pm On Jun 03, 2021
I think you can appeal the decision!

Email them with a copy of your transcript and plead that they reconsider your application.

I don’t think there’s any school in Lithuania that doesn’t request for 1st year transcript.

Hello 5million is about €10,000. The official cost of living in Lithuania is just below €4,000. Your masters degree should span for two years as well as your tuition.

However, from what I’ve experienced the embassy only performs it’s calculations on the base of cost for one year.

Therefore your 5million should be enough.

Anyway I’m sure you’re familiar with the saying the the more the merrier.

Hi. I appreciate the efforts of those answering questions here.

Please will 5million naira be enough to take me to Lithuania for MSc? That includes from the application process, tuition and when I get to Lithuania and rent too. And also I come from a poor home as I’m self sponsored. Can I work and study? Money from work will be used to pay tuition and other bills there.

Please reply.

Hello guyz,
Your assistance is highly needed here, filling out the visa application form but I am stock at #Intended date of departure from the Schengen area after the first intended stay * I input the whole during of my program which is Feb, 2023 and is not accepting that date.
Should I fill in a date below one year which will also reflect on my flight itinerary?

Go do personal income tax declaration. But I am aware a lot of people don't do that. They don't check for that really.

Any thoughts on proof of ties ? It's on the vfs check list but someone here mentioned it .

I'm not married nor do I have landed property . All I have is a business

For BSc you don’t need to present so much for proof of home ties. As they assume your only ties should be your immediate family.

However for masters students and those applying for second bachelors you’re expected to show sufficient proof of home ties. You can show this in the form of a study leave from your current employer.

Yeah , the thing is I am self employed . I have my own law firm .

I'd appreciate any insight .
