But then, how is random murdering of policemen, burning police stations and INEC offices in the SE a commensurate or sensible response or solution to Fulani herdsmen killing around the country? One would have expected UGM to at least engage the murderous herdsmen operating in parts of Ebonyi, but instead, they seem to be more obsessed with Imo state where we've never had any herdsmen incident ever.

Like I said in my previous post, there's a terribly intoxicating force that comes with the power of the gun. We've seen the murderous barbarism of our armed forces (police, army, civil defence, Customs etc.), and these are even organisations that have a hierarchy and a bit of 'control'. One doesn't need to look far to see what a faceless armed UGM would become in the near future. Only a matter of time before they start forcefully extorting/taxing ordinary citizens, beating, raping an maiming whoever resists, and the economy of the SE would bear the brunt of these. Just last week at Ahiara Mbaise, a petrol station attendant was beaten mercilessly for refusing to dispense free fuel.
