"The choice before Nigerians in the coming election is simple: A choice between going forward or going backwards; between the new ways and the old ways; between freedom and repression; between a record of visible achievements and beneficial reforms – and desperate power-seekers with empty promises…
Our political opponents shall assail us with the fury of their desperation to win power. They will use every means – intimidation, false accusations, hostile media and more. Do not descend to their level. We must stay focused on the mission at hand – to secure Nigeria’s future.”
Jonathan's acceptance speech to run for second term at Eagle Square in Abuja, Dec, 2014

Twitter though, don't they see how the terrorists are tormenting us, Buhari has a right to say what he said as per terrorists and killers operating in Nigeria. Bleep twitter. Security is imperative. Twitter's suspension of Buhari's account was wrong.

When they were busy suspending and TV and radio programs, some were applauding. Today they have shown what monster they have become.

NATIONAL SECURITY SHOULD COME FIRST and not the interest of Twitter who is making money out of Nigeria by inviting violence.

Turkey, China, UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, Tanzania, Uganda, Myanmar, Brazil, Iran, Russia, Belarus, Chile suspended Twitter and heaven did fall. Twitter cannot protect her own country from destruction and encourage the destruction of Nigeria.

Imagine allowing Al Qaeda to use their plaform to incite violence in America the way that porn star COWNU was given freedom to incite violence in Nigeria.

We have a country to protect, we have Nigeria to build and we have Twitter to ban.

On this, we can all agree Twitter fvked up... You don't have to like or hate Buhari to know they fvked up BIG TIME... You don't mess with a sitting president.... with 2 years to election... and except no consequences...

They just lost over 3million active subscribers... It will affect their stocks eventually cos it will affect their ads market in Africa...

The FG doesn't understand how this impacts foreign investors confidence in Nigeria.

If the FG can wake up and without due process, ban your business. Then they could as well take over your business for any fictitious reason.

Who will want to invest in such a country?

You are complaining and you will be happy when you see soldier humiliate & torture innocent citizens,. You will be happy when your dunkard policeman do what they know how to do best.

They lost nada, most twitter users in Nigeria will seek for solution and eventually find vpn of which they can filter any further government embargo.

The only one that goofed here is Buhari and a few of his paid promoters.

They have had sense and we're blessed with some emotional set of leaders, if the presidio has done the right thing as promised, who gives two effs about banning Twitter but right now that's their priority. Ordinarily, the government should have been working behind the scene just to right all their wrongs but....
