Preggo mummies, I need help and prayers. I'm now 5 weeks and 1 day. I've been having PMS like cramps since week 3 and it has yet to subside. I took about 6 tests on different days which all came out positive but faint, and I read somewhere that the line should be getting darker gradually, but it's not at all.

Also I'm noticing that some symptoms I had are no longer there, like the slight sore breasts and nausea.

I was so devasted this morning thinking I'm going to have (or may have had a missed miscarriage).

Anyone with such experience? And please your prayers, and lots of baby dust. I'm really attached to this pregnancy despite having two kids already ( probably because I want a girl now)

I used only one shawl when I had my son, I used it on Naming ceremony day and when we go out to cover baby's head when I back him and it's cold. So I'd advise you get one shawl and 2 flannels.

I've always had serious and prolonged MS with both pregnancies, so even taking folic acid was a task I hated. But I can remember craving milk and eggs, fish and health combinations a lot which helped.

There's no need to over stress yourself over prenatal vitamins as far as you eat healthy ND nutritious meals. Im not saying not to take it, but go for what you baby and body can tolerate.

If it's just simple ferrous sulphate and folic acid your body wants, don't force it to accept other things.
Go with your normal pregna care and eat well.

Thank you. I won’t say I’m eating great right now because this one hook my mouth. This is my first time being a prenatal faithful.
First pregnancy, I think I took my prenatals once in two weeks, I was never faithful with the thing, second I took them individually and it made me miss them a lot because they’ll say take this one in the morning take this one in the night.
I’ve seen my OB once since I began this pregnancy due to the scare I had last week and he thinks ordinary pregnacare is great and that’s what the hospital prescribes because swallowing two tabs is a lot for most women, I have another tablet I purchased already - one a day advanced (1 tablet 1 soft gel), I don’t want to waste my 16k I used for this pregnacare so I’ll struggle to swallow it for the remaining few days.
My concern is I just want to be sure it doesn’t make one so sick, because if it does I won’t hesitate to dump it.

Thank you, My doctor thinks I should even dump the prenatals for now and face the 5mg folic acid and one white medication he gave me for a 7 days course last week.
I wish I was craving all the good things you craved at least e for better . I can’t even stand eggs right now or anything that doesn’t contain serious pepper, although I never vomit throughout my pregnancies but I always feel very sick (headache, food aversions for some weeks, metallic mouth taste , feeling bloated & very tired, can’t stand to even shower etc) looking forward to 14 weeks when I usually get better. They always say no two pregnancies are the same but it seems I get the exact same symptoms all the time and I wonder why.
I can’t stand perfumes & body sprays either So I use lime as my deodorant and it seems this pregnancy is going to be a long one because it didn’t take me by surprise meaning I started counting from day 001.

I was also worried about number 2, Anomaly scan at 20weeks came our perfect for both babies. My Dr has been telling me that babies in the womb have plenty 'cushion' and won't be pressed by band or mistakenly lying on tummy but I didn't listen. How will I? 13yrs of actively trying is no joke.

We're 30weeks + now. And have been getting scans every 2weeks since the start of this pregnancy, got some done every week sef sneakily though However, my Dr has scheduled me for weekly antenatal visit and scans from 31weeks and that makes me so happy and relieved.

Stay positive, pray and declare positively about your pregnancy and baby, tell God you want a healthy Baby Girl. I prayed all through my 2weeks wait declaring exactly what I wanted; God was merciful and answered. I got 2 Boys and an easy pregnancy.

My Lines never got darker even though am pregnant with Twins. I also had zero symptoms early on after the initial cramps and light spotting I got before I took my official test after 2weeks of Embryo transfer. The only thing I did to rest my mind was go for a Beta HCG test which showed high numbers.

I continued with Zero symptoms until boom one day, I got hit with Food aversions first, zero pepper in food, nausea (never vomitted), funny taste in mouth, only carbs, hot food only, fatigue, heart burn, sleeping like I was bit by Tse-Tse Fly etc followed one by one.

At my first scan around 6weeks, the Transvaginal scan also didn't pick up my babies easily but immediately my Dr switched to Abdominal scan, both babies were clearly visible. Everyone was kinda surprised because we believed Trans vaginal scan should have showed them clearly and better that early. Take care and rest well.

Hi Cappo, after my long response to this post, I was banned and my response was even deleted. Not sure the cause so I'll keep this short. Yes am around Igando axis. Subol is my HMO Hospital but am not using there for Antenatal. I'm continuing with my IVF Hospital at Dopemu (Bolasad Specialist Hospital), am paying out of pocket there though. I was considering switching to Subol to birth just for HMO sake (free) but thinking and rethinking it. I'm leaning more towards birthing at my Bolasad since that's where God gave me my Miracle, make person no look money spoil things. Hope you and your LO are doing great. May God help us make the right decisions and perfect all that concerns us, Amen.

2) i guess ds happens to a lot of us, i sleep off on my side n sometimes wake up on my back....i simply adjust to my side n continue my sleep

Anomaly scan is done typically between 20-24 weeks, so u can stil do it on monday
