Senorita222:If you don’t mind a government hospital then you can use Gbagada general hospital and if you mind going far I’m a fan of Lagos island maternity, I know a few good hands that work in GBGH. I know hospitals will say 12 weeks and even my present hospital says 10-12 weeks before they book me for antenatal but I should keep coming to see the OB every 2 weeks because we have pending matters. 2 Likes |

Senorita222: u r welcome here...feel free to ask any questions you have. typically antenatal starts anytime from 12 weeks, but different hospitals n their policies so it ll depend on what hospital u r using. Folic acid is fine n very important for now, when u get to the hospital they will advice further 1 Like |

You're welcome dear. Feel free to ask your questions. This journey is just God. For my first pregnancy, I started ante natal at 6/7weeks. There were no issues..just cos it was my first and I didn't know jack The private hospital I use now says from 13weeks. I guess it depends on hospital sha. I can imagine. Personally, I don't like drugs or injection. Pregnancy period is the only time I really take drugs almost on a daily basis. E no easy. Thank God I hardly fall ill cos I can't deal. Sorry dear. Debbieeeeeee: |

Oliran:We re doing great Went to d hospital today did scan but sex no gree show But I'm advise to come back in 2wks to try again Maybe by then sex will show I wanna ask how many wks can one start taking calcium Because they no gree give me calcium for clinic o. Na folic acid, ferous nd vitamin c Dem dey give me o I travelled some months back nd had to register in another hospital over there nd they gave me calcium nd a combination of ferous nd folic acid but I'm back now nd them no give me calcium again o Pls help a ftm |

I am Four months gone, got pregnant through ivf. I completed 29 this march. Been married since 2019 December. I just didnt want to wait as my husband was putting pressure on me. One thing i noticed from my husband was that even during ttc time he only makes love to me on my ovulation days, and we always quarrel because while we were dating he wasn't this way. He keeps on saying that he is saving the sperm all that. Then i notice he flirts with women on whatsapp and mostly ladies around us after quarrel he will delete their numbers. Yesterday friday he asked me to go visit his sister that had a failed iui transfer. Initially i accepted but i noticed i was sleeping all through the day, so i couldnt make it he kept on calling ask me if i have left for his sister's place? I lied to him that i am on my way there, this was past 7pm already, knowing fully well that the road is bad and the husband i know would had said it was too late to leave the house as at that time. I called him past 8pm that i am there. He told me that he was on his way home from work, and i told him that i was bored that we should be on the phone till he gets home, because his work place isnt far to our home. He kept on insisting that he wants to talk to his sister, and that he called her to confirm if i have gotten there already? I lied that his sister went to get fuel, just to distract him. Then i realised he was close to the house after i noticed his car headlight. Then i told him that i should help him open the gate, next thing i saw a girl ran out of his car, i told her not to bother because i have seen her. All to my surprise she is my husband's worker's younger sister. I just went inside and told them they can both come finish what they started in my matrimonial bed. The most painful part is that my husband makes love to me 3 times in a month and it was during my ovu period. Since i got pregnant we have only made love 3 times now after the first 3 months of my pregnancy! He doesn't touch me and to even think that friday morning i literally knelt down to beg him of sex but he refused all for him to send me to his sister and then brought a girl home. I have born so devastated. This pregnant is still early . Just need advice on what to do cause i am so confused |

supernet4:I used calcium for like 2 months during my first pregnancy and I did same for this. I just stopped using it last week. I don't think it's really important except it's prescribed by your doctor. Some mamas only use folic acid and ferrous throughout their pregnancy. You can ask your doctor on your next appointment. 1 Like |
