God is our strength o! my water is with Lemon or lime, my smoothies have to be with a dash of lime because I can’t stand anything too sweet either, my mouth is producing extra saliva these days. I really look forward to week 14/15 the week when everything gets normal . Sometimes I’m wondering who sent me message sef because pregnancy is not a walk in the park at least for me it has never been a walk in the park until the day I deliver.
I have a friend who says she enjoys her pregnancy period and like being pregnant and I find it super weird because no be me.

Be strong and be of good courage. I am optimistic that all these will pass, this is my second pregnancy, my first wasn't like this. Just take each day as it comes. Don't over work yourself. lime/lemon are my new besties can't do without them.
I pray 2nd trimester will be a huge relief for us.

Me & Tabs inconsistency are like 5&6 I hate taking tablets, I don’t know who sent me to buy this pregnacare max and I have one week to go before the pack is exhausted, I definitely feel so sick taking these tablets but I want to know if it makes other people sick so I can have a perfect excuse to dump it. Yes, tried actively to conceive for 13yrs before I braced IVF and was lucky got answered at my first IVF Trial. It's still surreal, I keep thanking God every second. I always take a second look at myself anytime I pass a mirror or reflective glass

I’m taking a break for a few days before I begin the new one I purchased recently(I hope I’m not messed up either) but I’ll keep taking my folic acid during the hiatus, as I have 5mg Folic acid prescribed separately by my OB.
As a side rant - count down during pregnancy is the slowest! 3 days is like 3 years.

Good afternoon mummies, pls is it safe to use any lightning cream and soap during pregnancy? Cos I was told I shouldn’t use any cream at all and that it’s dangerous.

Depends on what you call lightening cream. But seriously no cream can really combat melasma in pregnancy. Some of these lightening creams are not safe to you and your unborn child. Avoid anything that has to do with steroids, hydroquinone and mercury. Unfortunately most lightening creams in the market are laced with these harmful chemicals, but the manufactures won't indicate it on the ingredients. So it's best to stick with only moisturizer this period. It's better to be safe than sorry.
