yes o; but all my cars are white.. it’s just my go-to color for cars

How many of them do you drive at a time? That's the problem wtgh Africans. If you were to be in the UK, you'd probably be driving a pick up. You may not be ale to afford up to 2 cars max.

Instead of acquiring all these cars, why not give to the poor?

Again, I dokt get it. Is it that you can't drive or what? Or are you lame? Can't you drive from Lagos to your location? You saw what a driver was doing to your car and you were there comfortable. I'm sure you bought it with stolen funds, that's why you are not moved.

Be glad for the safe trip, Mercedez of these days is an expensive headache , not built for our roads but for the german autobahn.

Low profile, with fragile aluminium wheels that give up on ordinary speed bumps. Parts very costly and certainly not in Caly.

I suppose driving will be restricted to caly township.

You certainty wont try driving the car from caly to Ugep or Ikom, but feel free if the quid to spend is available, our mechanics need customers like you for business. grin

Why drink panadol on top someone else's problem. I'm sure he's aware of the implications buying a benz and if he doesn't have the financial muscle to do so, he won't go there or come begging you for assistance. Pls back off.

carry on with your Toyota.

grin

That car was gotten from copart as toks, and you can NEVER feel ride quality with your Toyota gang..
Never

All very well, but I assume you dont intend putting the CLS on any more long distance journey.
But if you dare to really enjoy your coupe in Nigeria, lose those silly low profile tyre/wheel setup.

Ditch 19/20 inch wheels coupled to 35/45 profile tyres and step up to 18/19 inch wheels coupled to 50/55 profile tyre.

The car will definitely not look as cool to the connoisseur, but slightly loose in feel and much kinder to your wallet.

It was 6:50 am in the morning when I called teddy that I was coming to Lagos to pick my cls up( I had paid for a thorough paint job to be meted out on the car)

I booked a flight from calabar to Lagos that same month for almost twice the normal fee! shocked

Everything went smoothly from there and I spent the night at one of those hotels in the GRA axis of ikeja.

I went down to meet up with the paint guy, and I was impressed by what I saw.

I was assigned a driver by the company to drive the car down to calabar... “Na new car be this, drive carefully “ the driver was told, but it was the complete opposite of the instructions he was meted out to that he did.

Pothole upon pothole the car entered, and I was so mad that I couldn’t shout again.

The final straw that broke the camelback was when he entered two potholes at once along sapele road, and the tyres screeched and gave up.

The passenger side tyres tore like it was riddled with bullets, and it was a bushy area.....

shocked

We heard a siren blow and a police van ordered us not to park there that hoodlums kidnapped people there...

They had to follow us to the nearest filling station, which was thankfully near an army checkpoint.

The rims had given up too at that point ( rims wey I buy 250k) cry

I was so mad I couldn’t even talk to the driver again.

The policemen came down and asked what the problem was .. they offered to bring down the tyre and sorted things for us. shocked

We had to sleep in the filling station that night for the car to be worked on the the next morning!
That particular night, without being signaled to come, 4 Warri boys helped us get new tyres and transported it to the car’s location without collecting money. I was shocked by the hospitality.

The next day, the boys again took me to where I’d get rims and everything for the car, which was beyond amazing.

I had to squeeze 3k to the supposed leader, as they refused to collect anything.

I got back to calabar yesterday afternoon, and I’m riddled with repairs worth 300k+

If you’re from delta, you guys rock! So much, as if it wasn’t for those guys, then my situation would have been lipsrsealed lipsrsealed
Bros please like 300k I wan start a restaurant biz...job hunting after job loss don tire me...u hear?..yes I am begging, miracles happens you know

Are you aware that’s it is not everybody that’s can drive long distance driving, I drive a Lexus and I can only drive within the city centers I can’t drive a long distance kind of driving . I lose interest very easily so I wouldn’t want to be a danger to other drivers.

So far only one person commend police and delta boys. Suppose the story was police steal tyre of Benz traveler, una for see comments and more stories of how delta boys disturb them when they pass there 2 years ago plus how police do this or that but cause the narrative is different for once, they have turned the thread to Toyota vs Benz.
you're very observant. That's why I said, most of us are hypocrites who only shouts when it suits us .imagine no one is disturbing the greedy governors to grant the judiciary financial autonomy whic h has made them gone on strike for over a month now but if it were to be PMB that has refused to do the needful, hell would've been let loose by sahara reporters and other cashtivists like deji adenyaju and co

Lol baba Benz no be Nissan oh. Those cars are solid. I advise you use one before you bad mouth it and don't base your knowledge on some kazeem's verdict.

Buy a car with good history, change oil as at when due, give it what it requires and it WILL even outlast your Toyota clitoris which it most likely out performs too.
