khadaffi:And can Asari Dokubo prove it? Or can he say it now? Anybody can say anything. For example, your entire family were enslaved by my ancestors. You forgot he said such nonsense when Ndigbo don't have access to any arm. Now everyone in Nigeria knows who the boss is that is why Buhari is looking for Pakistan and Libya help. One on one, no black nation even with black allies can stand the Igbo nation |

LordVoldermort:Hausa you say? Hausa cannot be there. I am not here to doubt the Op. We just discussed this very topic with my guys here in Abj two weeks back. The Igbos have shown to be brave. Fighting the whole country and world powers for 30 months. Repelling Miyetti Allah terror group, something that other tribes are finding it hard to do and even fighting the security agents at the same time. I think Ijaw should be there before Bini. When we talk of Niger delta militants, we are talking of Ijaw boys. Jukun should also replace Igala. Those guys are fearless and always ready to defend their lands. Please nobody should attack me, this is just my humble opinion. |

olatade:I'm surprised the Jukun are not there. Fulani shouldn't be in that list. To me, warrior tribes in Nigeria should be Igbo, Kanuri and Jukuns. They're the only tribes that have history of bravery that have maintained it even in modern times as seen with their resistance of the Fulani conquest plan. Other tribes are just noise makers that can only refer to what their fathers did such as the Tivs and Yoruba. The modern Tiv like there counterparts in the Middlebelt has used drunkenness to sell their future, while the Yoruba has used owambe and desire for flashy life to sell theirs. Jukuns should be in that list, not Fulani who are riding on state sponsorship. |

PoloG:Slavery was documented. We know the tales and documented legends of slave traders like Seriki (The Fulani man that sold almost half of Awori Yorubas and built permanent residence at Badagry) , Izuogu, Iheme etc. Tell me one slave trader from the minority tribe and point out the one that was bold enough to step foot into Igboland. You should have asked yourself why they are Minorities, ie why they are small in number |

Yeebos really take themselves too seriously. I don't think there's a single tribe as deluded as these clowns. Bravest tribe? Was there not where Ojukwu the Ivorien came from? What about 'our dilector"? Azikwe on "medical trip"? Thanks for the joke, though. |

HedwigesMaduro:You and your whole family are welcomed to raid Igboland. Or better, travel to Igboland, enter one forest and stay there for 2 hours. Things like this are ought to be confirmed in person. Life and direct |

| Re: 5 Most Powerful/Brave Tribes In Nigeria * by PoloG: 10:37pm On Jun 08, 2021 |
Princesaha:igbos have never won any war and defeated anybody before in their history... sorry... the bravest tribe would be Hausa or the middle belt tribes... don't mention edo.. we ain't talking about cultism here.. you can also mention ijaw due to militancy.. |

BKayy:hahhahhahhahaha oga don't come here to rewrite history just because you want to praise your tribe.. Which seriki fulani are you talking about? And it is documented that the igbos were captured and sold as slaves to the Europeans by the ijaws and ibibios .. |
| Re: 5 Most Powerful/Brave Tribes In Nigeria * by BKayy: 10:44pm On Jun 08, 2021 |
PoloG:Name one Ijaw man that sold slaves? Or someone that was sold by Ijaw, or an Igbo village or clan that has ever been raided by Ijaw for even slave or any other thing? And leave Ibibio out of this, they don't know cockroaches |

Princesaha:You're very correct. I already mentioned Jukuns before I saw your comment. I even do not think Bini should be there. Even though they built a big empire, their descendants have not proven that they're worth being called brave. Moreover, it was the Esan army or rather the Esan division of the Bini Empire that routed the Fulani, not Binis perse. |

ScamHunter:Jukun was defeated and permanently subdued by the Fulani. The Fulani rules Jukun till date. The Jukun even defeated parts of Etsako for the Caliphate (Auchi). The Minorities that are worthy to make that list is Ijaw, Ibibio and Tiv (unfortunately). The old Tiv would have made top 3, I don't know about this generation |

PoloG:Presently, ESN has dislodged the 4th deadliest terrorist group in the world from Igbo forests. This one is not history. I'm sure you know Igbo fought a war with an odd of 4-1 against all of Nigeria backed by Russia, Britain, Egypt and Czechoslovakia. Military analysts who are whitemen said that Igbo would not have lost if the odd against them was 3-1. The only black tribe that could fight Western powers for 3 years while building their own weapons, roads and airstrips is not just a warrior tribe, but a great one. |
