That's because you're in Abuja, travel to another place and you will be amazed.

What I saw when I went to Bayelsa for the first time will shock you to your marrows but after spending some days in Lagos, I concluded that Bayelsa girls are virgins.

My time in Kogi and Benue weren't any different, these people Bleep for the silliest reasons.

Then I returned home to my village in Enugu and the story is the same.

I have been to majority of the states in Nigeria and I have two things to tell you.

1. The only thing keeping this useless country together is Oil and Sex. The elites are busy with oil money while the rest are busy fvcking.

2. The thing they say about Calabar people is not true.

Asaba will soon take over bet me. The industry is booming in Asaba and according to studies, it's going to overtake Abuja in the next five years thanks to its proximity to Onitsha.

Men are paying a lot for sex. A lot? you want to park your car? Literally, men are looking for a lot to park their black jeepcheesy. get it?

it is not easy to resist sexual temptations.
money and sex go together. As long as you have money, sex will come chasing.

these are one of their conspiracies, to make our girls/women prostitutes and the men/boys thieves because of just food to eat and plenty hardship.

Remember the days we had less prostitution, there was food and women were faithful to their husbands.

But now the hardship has made many women weaponize sex as tool to survive, because it actually cost them nothing and the enjoyment is double edged except for the risk of diseases and murders. The easiest job of a woman is just having sex and eating food.

Watchout, once the economy becomes better, men getting married and women could feed well, no man will be out there to cheat, because their housewife will kill them with sex. Men hardly reject sex, for the fear of another man taking advantage of her want.

There is so much money in Abuja with very little productivity.

Ofcourse, the only way females can get access to that money is through favours mostly precipitated by sex.

There is no real work there. No industry, nothing.

It's basic Economics.

This isn't new now, Abuja is something else, just have money and you can do anything. I had my first 3 sum with Abuja girls back then in 2014, and it was pleasurable.

Yes, Abuja and some other cities are the capital of prostitute in Nigeria, it can be lucrative, that is why it goes on.

The top performers can earn in the region of $400 a night, depending on Location.

It is a short term career. I know several women who were doing questionable paid activities, strippers, pole dancer, masseuse (untrained and topless) etc. to pay their way through school or meet a debt they owe. They earn in the region of $60 00 to $12000 a year. I don't really ask them what they did: I know it involved sex and payment and certainly not drugs, but it isn't the sort of thing you ask.

They all went on to have respectable careers, though one is more reticent about working in a bank than being a former sex worker.

What I would say is none of them are proud of what they did and wouldn't recommend the life, and are now on the conservative side of dress and sexual matters and happily married.

On the other hand they aren't angst ridden about it: it was "something they did" at a different time.

Earning money through sex isn't viewed as respectable and there are more fulfilling ways to earn a living.

I don't even think the majority of women work the streets in the first world, it is pre- arranged appointments by phone, through an "agency". There is always the risk of assault and disease.

I think in the end it is about how badly they need the money.

Some prostitutes aren't, if they're doing it for drug money or being forced into it. But assuming we're talking about escorts who choose to do the job they're doing, it's a combination of factors, economic and social, and the reasons vary from country to country, but here are some of the reasons:

1: They're self-employed.
Prostitutes don't have a regular job with a salary, which means they don't have a reliable income. They're not guaranteed to have appointments whenever they want them, and the overhead on an appointment can be pretty sizeable - it's the same reason plumbers and mechanics and personal trainers are expensive, because you're not just paying them for one hour of time. They also have other costs - most escort services take a cut of what you bring in, and many escorts have security arrangements in place to reduce the risk of something happening to them.

2: Their work can be dangerous.
Higher class escorts generally take steps to make sure that there's a papertrail linking them to their punter, and more importantly that their punter knows this, but when you meet a stranger for sex there is always some degree of risk - and risky professions cost more.

3: Their work can be illegal.
In many countries, prostitution is illegal, which carries associated risks. It may also be necessary for escorts to "grease the wheels" in order to keep operating. In countries where it isn't illegal, they have to pay taxes on their earnings, which means having an accountant.

4: They often retire early.
Like athletes and dancers, escorts generally retire much earlier than a lot of other professions - and unlike athletes and dancers, they don't have something nice and explainable to put on their CV for the gap. It's important for them to build up savings to provide them some security while they look to reskill.

5: They charge what the market will bear.
Expensive escorts charge a lot of money because people are willing to pay a lot of money. Since in many places it's illegal, the market isn't well regulated, so it's at the whim of the market forces - if people keep paying a lot, escorts will keep charging a lot.

You must be a god mother. I’m familiar with some.

But I must tell you that :

Prostitute don’t retire. They may pause for a while or long time but surely, there will always be old clients they love being with..

Majority of them don’t usually make meaningful profit eventually. They are usually ending up broke again(One among the reasons they don’t retire)..

One thing is to make money, another thing is to use it wisely.

Prostitution is not one rosy job as some aspiring girls do think it is..

If you’re looking for people who make money and still suffer, smile and cry, nah dem prostitute..

Was there no hardship in Olden days?

Those Olden days, there was norms, characters, high values, less greediness, less entitlement mentality and that’s why you see less immorality in the land..

Girls of this generation wants to start living like Kim kardashian as early as from 17,18,19..

These days, there’s low norms, characters, values and high greediness, high entitlement mentality which all brings about high immortality..

So irrespective of how economy is, prostitution will always flow. It has gone far more than you think..

They now recruit like army recruits. Just like girls of Olden days do aspire to learn one handy work or the other, so are girls of these days aspiring to start runs..

Like you said, the easiest job for a woman is to have sex and eat food..

i can affirm to this prostitution doesn't give good money, no matter how much a girl charges per night, there must always be something to buy the next day with that, they always have something to buy to keep looking good..
