Avoid pick-ups along Obalende axis esp near that oando filling Station.

CBD boys in faded orange polo almost nabbed their father today. But I no loose guard at all. Greedy mofos.

Yes.
It can give you the actual fare. It can give you only the estimate from Marina to Tejuosho. And it can equally give you anything in between.

Even after changing the destination at every stop, It can still give you anything that pleases it.

From my observation I would like to add the following.

1. Ensure you drivers app is always up-to-date. Regardless of any stops, it will calculate correctly the actual kilometer covered and time and will give the accurate fare whether you update the route or not. The only implication of not updating the route especially if you are far from the primary destination is that you might not get a request until you end the trip ( The reason is obvious).

*2. When you pick a request on surge and the riders ask to make some zig zag out of the primary destination route. (For example you pick a lekki trip from ojodu-beger and the rider ask u first take him to abule-egba bus stop then from there to lekki, ) if this said trip came through surge I always advice you don't update just continue, because if you update the route in an area with no surge, the surge effect might not apply again, so just continue the journey, and input manually in you gmap for directions.

3. Always ensure your data connection is above 200mb always. A good phone without adequate data or bad internet connection is bad for business.

4. Ensure in your phone settings, you give the bolt app full permission, ensure under your batter savers settings, bolt is not enlisted.

Ensure you give bolt app permission to allow all notifications, to draw over all apps (this allows the app to work well with gmap or any navigation app you are using).

* Strictly my observation.

Yes, number 1 and number 3 points are correct...Bolt App is more stable now than before, all those short-paying and miscalculations have stopped...
ALso they aren't doing upfront pricing again, so u get what happens in reality, not estimates and theory.

BUT I will strictly advise u ask rider to update if u r going off-route, this is to protect urself. Some riders will later complain u took a longer route and that fare was way higher than what they expected, Bolt can hammer u for that, they don't tolerate fraud and dishonesty and u make them lose money because they will be forced to give the Rider a discount. So if u are going from Ojodu to Lekki via Abulegba, or if rider forgot something midway and wants to go back and pick it, let the Rider update his destination by force by fire. Note: Don't be the one doing the update from ur end... That way, a fraudulent rider can't even complain because there is evidence they changed d destination by themselves.

The bolded is not true, surge is applied from where d trip emanated from and continues throughout the life of that trip until u end it, irrespective of where u go or how many times u update it.
Would u say if there was no surge when trip started and trip is updated where there is surge, surge will now apply to d rest of the trip? That's not correct!!!

Bolt app is more stable now, if u like put the next street and we drive 50km u will be charged for 50km... Only thing is if we drive off route and end in thesame destination, if rider requests for fare review they will likely get it, if they didn't change their destination to d different stops. And Bolt will message u. So if u have huge change of direction always ensure the Rider changes the destination...note not u, but the Rider.

Same Indriver riders r abusing, just air your mind and wake to 1 star the next day.

I couldn't drive today, 3 hrs traffic from V.I to mainland shut me out today, the stuffs I have to put up with riders yesterday was that bad. Started out from first request, rider booked a ride from Berger bus stop to Lekki, I drove down to Berger bus stop, a lady approach the car as if I pulled over to pick pessangers to VI and I wave my hand in the no no way. Rider spot me and was approachin, I didn't know what he and the lady that approached the car earlier talked between few seconds, only for me to unlock the door and the 2 hopped into the car.

Me: sorry I don't pick unknown person like that
Rider: who told u she's unknown?
Me: are both of you going to the same destination
Rider: crack a smile, she will drop at VI
Me: Oga both of u should get down from my car please

Woke up to see 1 star, had to call him back this morning and ask if there's any atom of sense left in him, cos if he have no one to tell him, I will. Where does he place safety measure, or does the car belong to him? Does he even think in his right sense to notify me about the third party or he just think he has the right to control me, because he booked a ride.

The last ride from V.I to Ijayi housing estate, rider won't let me use map all beacuse she wants to get food, I didnt answer her like 3 times and decide to give her sense of belonging for the 4th time only to get stuck in traffic, spent 3 hrs on this trip and the nonsense girl lack courtesy, what do I expect? 4 trips with 3.8 rating tells a lot about her. Already about to get home when she called that she left a phone cord in the car, I confirmed it and she said, when will u bring it grin in my mind: is like u want to b unfortunate; told her to find a way to locate me and get her cord, if she's thinking of me driving down back to her house, then she have to wait till the day I"m around that area. I wish my uber is active in time like this, not all this 1.5k trip inside flood, like the one I got from Agungi to phase 1, tried to rush down to pick rider, see flood almost half of the car.

Are you serious?!! When I still dey pity the young man self? But seriously lets not look it like that ooh its not easy paying such amount on just a trip ooh just within lagos.

How much is lagos to Abuja? This is a journey of approximately 9hrs with full AC oooh only that the bus is biger and can carry many people.
well the young man could have entered danfo to complete his journeys within Lagos. Or he could broken the ride into several rides which is the reason ride-share is so cheap in the first place, he's got to pay for the comfort of a single dedicated driver for a trip spanning over 3hrs in Lagos.

Nice one. If I dey drive for that axis, I dey look all my mirrors and front at once, like a danfo driver at an obstruction. I still dey talk am, until you park in front of your house as a ride-share driver, you haven't earned your earnings, the money fit loss for road. Central lock is a must in Lagos.

The worst time to use Indriver is this season of traffic. It still amazes me that some drivers are taking ridiculous trip requests despite the traffic. I take my time to accept requests on Indriver these days. No fast finger. Better I do just 2 trips and be happy than do 5 and regret for going out that day.

Seems to be a daily activity on that bridge. It's actually getting out of hands.

Witnessed robbery on marina bridge inward apongbon last week. (the area I marked blue) @5:30pm, and About 100metres ahead of me.

They parked their car on the other side of the bridge, crossed over and rubbed people in traffic for about 2mins, Went back to their car and drove off.

Many people abandoned their cars and ran away.
