I know University of South Wales but a friend of mine wants to withdraw his cas from them because their in country rep wants him to pay more, after he has paid £6400 and has over N8million in his account.

The rep claims he's at the border line, that the rate can go up, neglecting the fact that oanda rate is all that matters. Abeg help a friend in need

No, you’re only allowed in a month prior so anytime from august 5th will be appropriate

While filling locator form I was asked to put my kids details which I did, coz they are under 18yrs

So do I go ahead to fill locator form for each of them again since their details are included in my own

I have been working in an ict firm for 5 years and I have acquired diploma certificates in web design and maintenance, cyber and system security. Pls which cheap university in uk can I apply? I want to join Sept or October intakes. Thanks

you can use it provided the closing balance date is not more 31 days old. However, it wouldn't hurt if you print a more recent statement.

Has he received his CAS and if so, what does the country rep have to do with the amount of the deposit paid?

Pof is your first year balance and 9months maintenance fee

Please enlighten me 'cuz I'm confused. On my offer letter, year one was stated to be offered as admission and the amount for tuition deposit stated(4000). It was stated to provide a maintenance fee for 9 months and my tuition balance but going with this your explanation does that mean I am supposed to show balance tuition(both for year 1 and 2) and the maintenance fee would then be for 18-20 months going by this explanation. The school is Teesside University with Advanced Practice.

fill out a passenger form for every passenger. Compulsory. Pay for ur day 2 and day 8 test and write the reference num on passngr locator form! Compulsory!
And yes go ahead to print out ur covid result. It is fine

That is an automatic refusal for her. It’s clearly stated that you are allowed to use either your bank statement or your parent’s bank statement. You can not use that of your brother, sister, uncle, aunt, in-law and other extended family members.

With regards to proof of funds there are people who provide such services and fund your account for you at a token. You can chat me up privately if she is interested.

Ask specific questions and you will most likely get specific answers.
All UK universities follow the same process - application, admission, payment of a deposit of varying amounts, CAS, then visa application, hopefully followed by a visa and a flight to the UK, then a meeting with reality.

What part of the process are you not clear about?

He has received his cas but they didn't release it to him. It was released to the rep because he doesn't have an agent. That uni is just freaking annoying.

The rep has placed so many conditions on him and I am just angry about the university's decision, he insisted on helping him fill his application form and he must pay for assisted service for his documents to be uploaded, among other rubbish.

The University of South Wales needs to do better, they shouldn't force their agent/in country rep on students.

I was accepted for MSc Quality Management and It took me 2 weeks to get my offer letter, Just make sure that your documents are stamped by the issuing institution i.e Professional ref letter, Proficiency in English lang. ( sec and uni) and academic ref. letter (sec & uni) .Yes 10% discount was given and CAS is a requirement.

I’m yet to receive CAS.....I was asked to send my refusal letter which I did and I received a mail the following day that my refusal is recent and was base on financial issues that I should tell them how my reasons for denial has changed.....so I replied the mail with my bank statement........ I got admitted within ten days of application

One thing I learnt is studying comp science is not enough, check indeed for the skills needed, start working on them and check the modules of your school to see if they will cook you well. Also market yourself and pray for Favor. All the best.

Apart from MSc Comp science, which in demand skills do you have? Coding? Data analysis? Cybersecurity?

You need to show only one year fees and maintenance money
