You've already got Corolla 08 which is good, you don't need advice for best brand again. Would you sell the car if they advise you again your Corolla.

If Uber and bolt are in Enugu and PH, register for both.

You may not get a satisfactory reply here regarding the business in Enugu and PH as apparently this is a Lagos thread.

You've got no worry with 08 Corolla you've as long as it is a sound car, just be careful as the car attracts theives most.

Good luck.

Good afternoon oo, please people, I changed my oil last week, corolla 05, this week the oil has short, I had to top it with the remaining oil, I took it to the mechanic, he examined it and said nothing is wrong. He finally said it could be the engine, probably because it's old and I'll have to continue topping it with oil to manage the issue. Please how true is this? And what could be the cause of oil shortage in the the engine?

B4 ur mechanic start saying it's engine, tell him or u chk d PCV valve and also any sign of leakage

Bolt is profitable in ph, no agbero or lasma or vio go worry just don't pack on major road if not wike taskforce go use shine. The car you have is ok for the job, just make sure you install tracker and comprehensively insure the car because na thief magnet. Bolt is easy to register, download the driver app and start the registration your self till the call you for inspection. I reside in ph, so i don't know of enugu.

This offline of a thing ehhh...my offlines are mostly with elderly men and women who don't have the app or want to stress their children to book. Or people going out of town or extreme ends of Lagos that drivers don't like going... Within town offline get as e dey b with young people, why not request? is what I always ask them.
A man, guy, young guy, or boy must never seat behind me at night especially if he is d only one on the trip. Beyond hiding things in the car, it is suspicious.

Old, young, man, woman, olosho, yahoo boy deaf, blind, cripple, I no wan know. Once the offline request comes from the rider I no dey go. There's enough money to be made from online trips.

Back then I used to even bait them to see if they'll offer offline but not anymore.

The other day one was asking me to go offline around 9pm. Told him I'll prefer to do it online. Trip ended N1100. He said, "you see how you shortchanged yourself, I was planning to give you N1500". I just smiled, collected my N1100 and moved on to the next rider.

In his mind, I'm seriously regretting not going offline grin

Na night sweet pass , constantly on 1.7 to 1.9 surge with riders begging and saying thank you.
I no get strength for hold up, touts,Lastma and hot sun.
As I was about to open my gate yesterday request came in going to ikoyi 11:54 pm with the guy begging to tip me. I told him Oga na mistake say my app dey on it’s almost 12 and there is curfew guy begin beg I just off phone.

Riders are humble and fast to come out or stay outside waiting for you in the night.

I have noticed the same. Once they request you, before you even finish picking, your phone has started ringing grin

Same riders that will wait for you to call during the day. Some will even reject the call if you call via the app

One kept rejecting my calls on the app. The trip made some sense so I called him. The first thing he said was "Why can't you call me on phone before? You think it's everybody that has data to waste on calls"

I just shook my head

Been a while on this thread, been busy with my new born (Son), i just park car for almost 2 months, ehhhm, the young man who has been calling me for a car (Ejigbo/Igando environ) abeg call me back, i lost my phone and i no backup WhatsApp. Thanks, how has the hustle been guys...

That young man must have been the angel you'd been waiting for but maybe you where not ready at the time and like you know angels don't last long at a particular position.

He must have moved on so instead of wait for him give the car to that man up there that you just recommended and wished good for.

Its right there with you... Give it to him he will take care of it for you... I can stand as a guarantor for him if you dont mind. But put me in the loop... Distance is nothing.

A good person will always be a good person diatance won't change it.

My Cab guys are all about increased fares and better earnings for drivers...the question I ask them, who will pay more for ur services when there are cheaper options?

If you want drivers to enjoy make it zero commission or 5% max and keep price same and watch all drivers port to ur App.
Competing with Bolt and Uber is not about drivers alone, serious marketing and bonus has to b done to get riders attention too.

But alas, they aren't different from Bolt and Uber whom they accuse of enslaving drivers. Everybody is hustling for profit

These are all the points I've been talking with the CEOs of Univasa.

Look the only company that would have gained ground in Nigeria and would have set both Bolt and Uber on their toes was Ocar/ORide. Those guys didn't only come with 0% commission at some point buy roles out massive bonus for both riders and drivers.

On the riders end you can order a ride that's worth 2k on bolt for N200 on Ocar.

Driver's get not just the equivalent but also get a bonus. Many of you of us here cashed out that period. I can point hands.

I believe Bolt and Uber bought the Lagos State government over to terminate their contract because it would have grounded both of them by now.

So which company has such money to do that again in Nigeria? Where trust for investment has been thrown into the waste bin. On of them told me bros embrace indegeniuos company by downloading the app, turn on your app our marketers are doing marketing in ICM, int'l airport and 5 people wants to request a ride. So I should fry my hair and start running from Abule egba to Int'L or ICM to pickup an angry rider waiting for me over 1hr for a trip of N500 to Anthony ba? God publish devil.

They'll old

And u will still be there waiting for them for as long as they keep u abi. The only reason I wait for more than 5mins is if the trip is a long distance trip or a destination trip from 11.30pm

Me don form one tactics now self...

I tell them trips automatically cancles once its 5min, if you set in a seconds late na offline. grin

To time.
