Hello house,

I want to service the engine on a Honda Civic 07 bought recently.
Is it recommended to continue using the engine oil (Mobil, the one with a blue cap) used by the previous owner of the vehicle?

Please car gurus here should come to my aid. Am actually loosing my mind. I had problem with my car( Honda civic 2007) which resulted to changing the engine. After the engine change everything was normal but I notice that the ac compressor was not working which I complained to the rewire there. The rewire asked one of his boys to check the ac connection. At first the guy did something and the ac worked. Now in the process of connecting the compressor, the guy did some wrong connection, the car refuse to start since then. Please what could be the problem?

Good day guys

1. My car is honda civic 2009 European spec. Want to know if my fuel consumption is high or not. It takes 250-265miles which is 410-425km to finish a full tank. Is this normal or my fuel consumption is high.

2. Why does the 8th gen(06-011) Honda civic American spec have one silencer while the European have 2. Does it mean that the European with 2 will consume more that the American counterparts

Thanks in anticipation

You didn't specify if it's city or highway driving?

I perceived yours is the 2.0l i4 engine. Fuel capacity is 50litres. I think it's okay for city driving. Maybe experts in the house may have contrary opinion

The specification for your car is 25mpg.
That is 10.55km per litre.

Your car is doing 425km for full tank.
That is 8.5km per litre.

Not too bad for fuel economy.

Sure Not bad at all, given that the thermostat may also be absent and fan direct in the said car

Please i need an urgent help!!!!!!
Am about to pay for a toyota camry 2008, clean Nigeria use, my machanics has certified the car ok, all the papers are complete apart from custom paper, i was told there can fix it on monday, but i just want to ask for opinion here. The car is being sold by a trusted dealer in abuja, plus is there any means of verify the papers, its my first car and i dont want any issues at all, though i already like the car, plssssss advice my pple

Abuja cars cool, few of them get custom paper. You better avoid cos the car won't be able to do interstate trips. About fixing it, it's nearly impossible unless you want to be duped. "Trusted dealer"? Run the registration via road safety to confirm if it's not even those Kaduna stolen cars.

It's best you don't buy cos resale value is already useless without customs paper

seconded, cars without customs are mostly not an issue if all your driving are within northern states but if it's southern states pls don't buy car without duty even though it will come cheap.

Beautiful car, but my fear is the premium fuel that it requires.
