No doubt, the high rate of unemployment and under employment in Nigeria is changing the mindset of the Nigerian youths, especially those that graduated from higher institutions.

This was evidenced by a text that was inscribed on the T-shirt of a student of Imo state University, who took his final exam today.

The young man expressed his feeling of despair in the prospects of tertiary education by writing "If I do masters, make I bend" on the T-shirt he wore on his graduation day.
That singular gesture caught the attention of many students, thus the young man from the department of History and International Studies became a sensation on his graduation day.

If your choice of occupation doesn't require doing masters, don't do it..it is just a show off, nothing else, but if it's needed,pls do..

Having a master's doesn't give you any edge now in the labour market, because even PhD holders are still looking for employment

Smart people will plan on doing masters outside Nigeria. Why not apply for scholarship programs outside the country

That's how my mates in school then do say they won't do Masters.

While some of us who failed some 500lvl courses hadn't even resist for the courses we failed (due to ASSU strike and Corona Virus) many of those who graduated already returned for masters.

They didn't even wait at all.

All this kinda statements are usually lies.

The school life nor easy abeg, but i know say if he see means to do masters abroad he go tear that T-shirt.

Education system in Nigeria is a misnormal from its hatch. When you adopt a kind of Education from a foreign land and can't develop it to suit your own kind of development. The Best university of Agriculture should be in Africa...

Every student must read same thing till Year 12/13..jss. When they should have devoted the growing brain towards the child strength.

Polytechnics students, Even Engineering were taught theories with little or never practicals.

I blame the university scholars, Professors in each fields for too myopic to the future. If they are following the British way of learning and Americans.... You'll see they've changed.
Same goes for religion... Those you learnt from have changed. Engineering taught in arabic dey...Why na only Religion una dey learn. Other better achievements your mentors had made
