The main problem is Politics not Religion! God Himself declared whoever ventures into politics a subject of death {Genesis 2 17} so if all religionsts stay out of politics politicians will continue killing one another for power! Ecclesiastes 4:1;8:9 So don't think Muhammad or Muslims started this killing of a thing, it was politicians who craftily schemed their way into false religions that turned Religion into a blood sucking act. From the beginning God Himself told Israel His people that it's wrong for humans to rule over humans {1Samuel 8:7-18} but humans often like to see their ruler and treat such ones as "God"  That's why all those who are interested in that position are desperate and can do anything to secure that seat even if it means wiping out a race just to keep their position as King and God!
