We all know Tinubu is a genius and I respect that. What I have against him is his silence while his people suffer murder, rape, banditry, destruction of farms and properties all because he wants the support of the cabal in Aso Rock for his presidential ambition. In the mind of his supporters he will right those wrongs when he comes to power. However I ask, can he raise the dead? His people and many Nigerians die needlessly and are oppressed while he keeps mum. Then his reaction to the Lekki massacre we all know took place. Come on. Leaders don't trivialize the agonies of their people.

The above comment was a reaction to my post on another thread yesterday. I ignored it initially because of the obvious ignorance of the poster but I was surprised this morning to see many people repeating this same ignorant nonsense all over the thread.

I opened this thread simply to correct this very ignorant impression. Pius Akinyelure retired as the Director of Finance of Mobil unlimited and he’s currently a board member of NNPC. Hopefully, this should cure the ignorance of some of the empty noisemakers here.
