You had the nerve to call a full blown war as Farmer-herders crisis?
I thought journalism was all about truth nurture with conscience?
Ode

The Nigerian Media is part of the Nigerian problem. There's no truth in them.
What is banditry, militancy, insurgents, unknown gun men, suspected herdsmen. All these are acts of terror and subjugation.
Call it what it is, then perhaps people will start seeing the truth.
A group kills 70, 110, 80 people who are unarmed and yet you term it crisis?

They are calling them arsonists, like everyone is scared of calling them their names which is terrorist fulani herdsmen but if it is ESN protecting our mothers and sisters from these demons, most imbechiles here will start convulsing like AC magnetic flux passing through low iron core with low reluctance.

How does this save you, your family, village, people, and region? I have said it many times that so long victims of Fulani terrorist acts maintain ethnic bitterness, nobody will escape. Every non-Fulani is in the throes of death, and you are here writing this?

Don't worry they will update us when they kill another 50.
Meanwhile, I hear soldiers now assist in cattle herding work over there.

Quiting from the newspost some residents even claimed to have seen a helicopter dropping firearms to bandits in the forest

Who are the federal government fooling by calling these people foreigners ? Was the helicopter dropping guns piloted into the country from outside as well? These are confirmed Nigerian fulanis who are fully backed by some elements in the government. Buhari can't say he's oblivious of this move because he receives security reports. This is a good reason we need to probe the presidency of how the billions of dollar spent on ammunition for the army disappeared because senator Ali Ndume who chairs the committee on army and baba gana Monguno, the NSA had said they didn't see any AK47 bought with the money in the hands of our military.

My advice to yorubas is that , we have to defend our territories and stop calling on the federal government and other regions should do the same. Military weren't present in Igangan forest until after the fulani herders had had a field day, imagine. All these are a proof that the federal government is complicit in this crime. We already who our enemies are.

I also nothing was being done about insecurity in Oyo State especially by the state government until yesterday when I saw the first move. Ariwo ko governance, empty barrel loma n pariwo... Seyi Makinde is a slow poison.

But he needs to be fast about his moves to avoid more human casualties.

Na werey alasho im be. Don't mind him. At times, they'd be attacking yoruba Muslims, thinking this issue is about religion. Igangan is dominated by muslims yet, those idiots still went there to unleash terror. The earlier we quit this union, the better for us all. Now that we know whom our enemies are.

Junk journalism. The way you all were silent when the killings went unabated in southern Kaduna and Benue. I'm sure it's still warming up in your region that's why you're now awake. What of the killings in the SE? How many did you report? All these brown envelope journalism. Finally, you guys aid and abate the evil going on in the land.

Oga, the FG was also silent about those killings. It was up to whoever wished to mention it to the world.

In the real world, nobody cries more than the bereaved. Why you expect a Yoruba to shout about Benue killings, for example, when Benue people themselves didn't step up to do it is beyond me.

However, I expect the Yoruba to raise hell over the killings in their land, just as Benue, Southern Kaduna, Zamfara, Katsina and Nassarawa people should have done for theirs.

Nigeria of today is "every man for himself". In case you didn't get the memo, some people are attacking everyone else in Nigeria.

The presidency planned the attack. Despite the reports that some of the attackers were aides to one seriki when he was gunned down they kept mum and did nothing. They are never rattled or baffled on any attacks done by fulani extraction and no arrests we're reported to be made. But if IPOB just made a shout out or just a minimal attack they will flex their muscles on them as if they wiped out an entire race.
The federal government is complicit of this attacks. They just kept mute and diverted their focus on protesters and rights activists

Bullcrap, Yoruba people sowed evil seeds in 2015 to spite Jonathan. The seed sprouted and has been decimating people in the Benue Plateau and all Middlebelt, they felt unconcerned not knowing their turn is coming. As the heralds of Fulani Janjaweeeedism, the law of sowing and reaping dictates that Yoruba land not escape the seed they sowed for other tribes. The earlier Yoruba people change their double life and double face treacherous ways and repent, the better for them. Otherwise, Benin Republic would be too small for the next wave of exodus their Janjaweeeed partners have planned for them.

You need brain urgently, the way you are going you might soon enter market, Yoruba voted to spite Jonathan in 2015, but your brain skip to remember that the same Yoruba voted massively for the clueless Jonathan in 2011.

Who told you Yoruba must always vote for, who you guys vote for? When you 5% didn't vote for Abiola in 1993 did anyone cry?

Yoruba will still vote against your interest in the future get hold of this or you can as well hang yourself.

.

While I agree that we must remain accommodating which is part of the way forward, I disagree with the statement that we must forgive and forget especially when the killing hasn't stop and future attacks are not be nullified.
When you loose close and loved ones to silly and unwarranted attacks like this, it hurts deep and those that are meant to protect or stand against this attacks are busy with their political lives and care less about whether their citizens are alive or dead, neither is justice served, how do you forgive and forget. Maybe the politicians need to be loosing loved ones too by these marauding killers too and just maybe they too can keep a straight face...

It is only until these killings are stopped and people feel safe again that time can heal such wounds but till then, we can only pretend we forgive but I don't think we will ever forget.
