We know you don't drink. It's just an advert. But you'll play in a competition they are sponsoring. Hold the Man of the Match cup with their branded name on it. Pose infront of their banner. Hypocrites. obembet: 2 Likes |

Africans and Asians and their primordial religious sentiment. I really do not understand how that monkey called Pogba came about Paul in his name. Why has he not changed it from Paul to Muhammadu, Abdullahi or something else? They pretend to be extremely religious yet all of them want to travel to America and Europe. Why not seek for Afghanistan or Yemen Visa? Mcheew! 2 Likes |

You don't eat rat, but when kids catch it, you use your teeth to share it for them. An earring dotting 'Paul' who cannot do without clubbing and plays in competition sponsored with alcohol is acting holy. How else do you define hypocrisy?? 3 Likes |

Ronaldo removed two bottles of coca cola and then scored two goals. Now that Pogba removed a bottle, are we expecting a goal from him? |

These footballers like Pogba are brainless farts. Their huge salaries come from these endorsements, but yet they are not willing to take a pay cut. It is like the North destroying beer bottles and yet sharing in their VATs. |

I blame Heineken for letting sleeping dogs lie. Sue UEFA so that UEFA can apply pressure on these Muslim players. At the very least, they should take a pay cut. Monkey dey work, baboon dey chop. 1 Like |

Great and thoughtful analysis. This is worthy of publication on the national dailies. Many Nigerians need to understand Nigeria is not a NATION and that is why the term "national unity" does not apply to us. It won't work not even when a certain ethnic group is revered above others. Some things just don't mix. When and where there is no unity of mindset, view about life, way of life, aspirations of people, as is the case in Nigeria, it becomes impossible to have a common purpose, hence a fractured relationship. By divine design, men are meant to exist as nations and not amalgamation of nations. This is evident in the tower of babel story. Every man went with the other whose language he understood. An old man will say, "God never created countries, he created nations". We need to understand that in this part of the world. A nation seeking to exist autonomously is NOT a crime. It is a fundamental right that should be respected in " freedom of association ". The era of regions was the greatest in this Nigeria's history. Regions were operated in a manner close to nations then as little power was at the centre. Until we return to those days or better still, go separate ways to exist fully as independent nations, " Failure " is the only thing guaranteed for this country. And the notion that secession must always come with bloodshed is a fallacy that evil ones who benefit from this failing system propagates and will actually want to enforce in case a move is made. Civil war in1967 is an example of an enforcement of the fallacy. We've seen Brexit, and many others listed by this analyst above which were peaceful by simply conducting a referendum. For a country with good intents, nothing stops it from conducting a referendum anytime agitation for secession arises. It must not always be bloody. We need to change our mentality in this era and push for better ways to exploit our potentials as NATIONS. If this present platform is failing, which it has been obviously since the 1960s, then we would remain fools to still believe in an impossible change rather than pressing for a better platform of self realization. Note: Partisan politics and/or ethnic sentiment is for the greedy, the foolish, the hypocrite, and/or the evil. The greedy benefit from its rot, The foolish blindly defends the rot while gaining nothing from it. The hypocrite knows the truth but paints the rot glossy because of sentiments or gains. The evil uses the rot as a tool to actualize his evil agenda and suppress others. To a wise patriot, national interest and future comes before partisan politics and ethnic sentiments. Kudos to the guy I quoted. |

DrayZee:their might legal angle to this trust me, companies come together to sponsor the tournaments with their resources so don't expect them to overlook this immature attitude by player's who are suppose to be professionals in their conduct, they are been paid by Euro tournament, but you will not like to respect the brands that pulled resources to host the competition. I see childish behaviour these arrogant sets of players. |
