You put it down simply for anyone to understand. Those who know Igbos very well know that we call off people's bluff easily. Igboland has all it will take to make us a great country yet those of us in IPOB see that bigger picture. If we dismiss off the other smaller tribes of the AS and go alone, it will still return to hurt (not hunt) us. We have a lot of our blood brothers there who's current foolishness can be so exasperating yet we remain resolute bearing the pain because we see ahead. If for any reason we go without them (non-Igbos of the Niger Delta), they will be wiped out. It's very clear for everyone to see except them. The role Igbos are playing in Nigeria currently is too much. The balance of power we bring is very evident yet others who are suppose to help us win and bring safety for all prefer to play politics with it. The sahelian terrorist know this that's why they're working day and night to strengthen themselves further while our own cousins and neighbours are still toying with the situation neither strengthening themselves nor weakening the current terrorist government. Destinies are being designed currently but those that should most concerned think it's just politics. There is no middle ground currently which a lot of Yorubas are just realising. If you don't want Biafra, start fighting for your own country. Don't remain silent and indirectly aid the common enemy.

Their thought is that once Igbos open the floodgates of seccession after years of sacrificing our own blood, they(Ijaws) will use that window of opportunity to declare their own independence too.
And if the Igbo fails, they would rekindle their relationship with the Gambaris and try to expand more into Igbo territories.

IPOB must be aware of these lots plans and make sure to thwart them.

Their thought is that once Igbos open the floodgates of seccession after years of sacrificing our own blood, they(Ijaws) will use that window of opportunity to declare their own independence too.
And if the Igbo fails, they would rekindle their relationship with the Gambaris and try to expand more into Igbo territories.

IPOB must be aware of these lots plans and make sure to thwart them.

He says the Igbo should focus on their own Igbo country and leave the Niger-Delta people alone to either remain in Nigeria or to form their own independent Niger-Delta country. Do some of our Ijaw cousins seriously think that path will really help them? Some verified Ijaws on NL are still toxic despite the reality facing everyone yet all they harbour remains this inexplicable hate for Igbos. It is what it is and can't be changed but we won't because of them refuse the current outreach approach we have. It's left for the whole Ijaws to decide. Igbos have paid the price already and our freedom is at hand. Nigeria can never recover from the current ditch she has fallen into. And what are these principles?

The general belief that the Arewa are their protectors against Igbo Boogeyman and that alliance with Arewa must Always be favoured over any alliance with Igbo.

To IPOB and Biafrans: What are you people willing to do to convince Niger-Deltans that the Igbos won't become the new Hausa-Fulanis in your Biafra?

To Niger-Deltans: If Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB decide to change the name of their country from Biafra to NIGER-DELTA REPUBLIC with the Niger-Delta flag and add the zoning system to their constitution, will Niger-Deltans and the militants agree to join the agitation?

I wouldn't say that I am sure why IPOB wants to bring the minorities on board, but we just cannot deny Igbos that have been harangued and harassed into denying themselves and their heritage by the Nigerian state. Most of their behaviour is simply survival strategy in a nation that being Igbo puts anyone at a disadvantage. I think that most of those peripheral Igbo, especially in Delta, Rivers and Edo went through a lot to have reached the consensus that survival comes before heritage. Reminisce what Igbos in the heartland must have gone through after the war to understand what those that were isolated from the mainland may have gone through. This is why I do not support any notion that they should be abandoned. Southern minorities are free to reject Biafra, but our own people should get all the encouragement they need to understand the danger of being lefty behind.

2) Someone says he wants Niger Delta Republic. The same person sees Biafra agitation, the same person sees Oduduwa agitation, but he does nothing for Niger Delta agitation. To this day, there is no group agitating for Niger Delta Republic and we have see not a single protest for it.

My dear, let me tell you what you do not know. Igbos want an Igbo ONLY country, but for some unknown reasons, IPOB wants the 1967 Biafra, plus other Igbos not captured in that Biafra. These are Igbos in Edo, Delta, Kogi and Benue. Some think it may be because of access to the sea that they want the minorities in the South, but that should not be an issue. Even if Ijaw, Ogoni, Annang, Ibibio and Ikwerre refuse to join Biafra, the Igbo nation can create access to the sea through the Urashi River and River Niger. But if the Ikwerre who deny their Igboness and Opobo which is owned by Igbo become part of the new nation, that would not be an issue since these are bounded by the Atlantic. So with either Opobo or Ikwerre, Biafra would have direct access to the sea, but if these vote in a referendum not to be part of Biafra, dredging the River Niger and Urashi River would be the options left. This could be settled through a maritime agreement. Afterall, oil and gas are piped from the SE and SS all the way to the North and beyond. So accounts can be balanced with that.

Having said that, let me also say that if Igbos leave Nigeria without the Southern minorities, it will be a tough call for them to get their own country. These things just do not work that way. You see, Igbo are paying the price of self determination and it is only a matter of time for the world to hear them. Let me tell you what will happen then. The call for referendum will be honored and that referendum will be for all Igbo in Nigeria and the former Biafra of 1967. Nevertheless, the minorities such as Ijaw can speak up loudly not to be included in the referendum but I doubt that that would work with the UN. All would be made to participate and decide if they would be part of Biafra or not. That is when people like your daddy can make their voices heard. Ijaw is a closely knit tribe and I am sure that they can make their voices heard as one people and decide not to be part of Biafra. In which case, they revert back to Nigeria when Igbo and others that vote Yes exit.

Now on a final note, do not think that Ijaw and the minorities would casually demand for a referendum after Igbo has gone. It doesn't work that way, the choice before them is join Igbo or remain in Nigeria. There is no middle ground. I suspect that this is why IPOB is insisting on carrying along the minorities - the power in numbers. If Biafra exits without the minorities, not even in 100 years would they have the voice to get a referendum from the UN. They lack that clout as minorities, so their voice is Igbo. You can take a cue from the Kurds in Iraq and Turkey who have been agitating for decades. Igbo are paying with resilience and blood. Can the minorities do that when Igbo are gone? Good luck to you.
