It has entered. Short of 0.0334% payment.

Though the Investment capital is meagre and so is the rental pay but what I have done is to open a Mutual Fund SUKUK Fund Account to keep it.

Shebi CBN don start 419
It's against the contract to pay the investor less than the agreed interest coupon rate.

Don’t mean to be a spoil sport but looking at it this way can give someone a wrong impression that wealth is being created in the 15 years.

You may be getting coupons to pay your rent and school fees but at the end of the tenor your will get just your principal whose value and purchasing power would be way way less than when you invested that money.

Basically, the coupons that you are getting is not free money. It is your own money that is just being amortized for you in 15 years grin

They will give the family the salary for 5 years when the investor dies, which is N6 million

Unlike bonds where you will collect your total principal of N12 million at maturity

Any time I receive my Sukuk3 alert, my heart always bless the duo of Ahib Oil& Gas and Pa Emmanuelewumi for sharing the information on this thread and people like Ukay, Unite4real, etc for furnishing us with comprehensive information which helped to clarify all doubts.

I miss those days of practical investment advise sha. Dem don use bad mouth pursue some heroes away from this thread. If not for ahib, I would have finished spending all those money that was invested in Sukuk.

Any way, to everyone that has been a blessing, here is wishing you more alerts alarms to your account kiss

Weldone Ma and good to know your doing well.

Just keep reinvesting the alerts your getting from the SUKU investment. By end of the suku investment maturity, you will surprised how much you have compounded the initial capital.

Some investors in FGN bonds 2037, 2049 and 2050 are investing their coupons in good dividend paying stocks in NSE and still getting good dividend payments from the stocks

Cheers grin

It is not 419. This half of the year has a shorter number of days than the second half of the year (difference is usually 1 or 2 days depending on whether its a leap year or not). This is the reason for the point something percent shortfall.

Nothing to share, just a Lagos boy, born bred and schooled in Lagos.

Did some of the bad, good and ugly things young people did until I gave my life to Christ and I became a new creature.

Oga VGC remains the best Estate along lekki axis. Apart from Nicon Town, others na just block industry

Lazyyouth4u:

They actually seized some of their money and properties that could be found when them FBI, Interpol and other international law enforcement agencies came for them.

Everyone thought VGC would be the next best thing. Go and look at VGC today. Enter inside old Ikoyi and you will find estates that nobody wants to live in. Dolphin Estate nko? Flooding killed the dream. It’s always easier when we have the benefit of hindsight.
