@Esseite OP Being an introvert means you need a lot of time to yourself for your system to function at best, it doesn't mean someone who doesn't talk or socialize. If you don't have friends and don't put in effort to be cordial with others, you're probably being anti-social and blaming it on your introverted nature. Acquire some social skills and put in effort at making friends, yes introverts do those too, doesn't take away the fact that you need personal time more often than extroverts

I think people confuse being an introvert with being anti-social or shy or lacking social skills. They are different. Introverts are people who need more time to themselves to get back into play, it doesn't mean they lack great social skills

They are conservative in nature and cherish quiet time.

Nope. It's not a turn off. It depends on the position. If it's in Sales or customer service it might be a problem, but in a technical position like engineering, geoscience et al it's not a problem.

Some introverts make the best managers fyi.
