This thread exposes a lot of people who are totally incapable of reading and understanding simple texts. There are many reasons for this.


1) There are people who are consumed by emotions and who just rushed in to comment after reading the headline. It is abundantly obvious that they did not read the post. How?

Some people are angrily trying to state things that have already been written in the first post. I mean, it's already there in the first post, didn't you read it?

There are even some people that are claiming that what is written in the first post is the total opposite of what is written in the first post. It tells you that these people did not even read it, they simply made assumptions about what is written in the first post. They claim that what is written there shows hatred for Igbos. How can an interview of an Igbo man show hatred for Igbos?? What the hell in that post shows hatred for Igbos?? (ask them that question and they can't answer apart from ranting incoherently) Obviously those people are far removed from reality.


These people do not know that they are simply exposing their inability to read and comprehend simple texts.

You also have those who are desperately trying to manufacture facts that are not real. These things are not based on actual facts, rather they are based on assumptions. One said that Ebitu Ukiwe executed the 6 zones idea because he was the highest ranking Igbo military man in office. The truth is that he was removed from office almost a decade earlier, he was not the highest ranking Igbo officer at the time, neither did he have anything to do with the implementation of the idea.

Another said that it was Abacha that drew the boundaries of the 6 zones. Abacha had absolutely nothing to do with drawing the boundaries of the 6 zones. The only states that Abacha created were Ebonyi, Bayelsa, Nasarawa, Zamfara, Gombe and Ekiti and none of them had anything to do with the boundaries of the 6 zones. No new boundaries were drawn for the 6 zones (Alex Ekwueme used the already existing boundaries). In fact, the 1995 constitution which contained the zones was never implemented and the idea was removed from the 1999 constitution because the constitutional conference had rejected it. It was the National Assembly (after 1999) that took a look at the idea, liked it and began implementing it via various laws. It had nothing to do with Abacha (apart from the fact that he accepted it for inclusion into the 1995 constitution).

One incredibly funny one is claiming that Ekwueme did not create the idea despite the fact that Ekwueme said that he did. She probably knows better than the man. She doesn't even know, or cannot comprehend what the phrase, "Created the idea" means.

Overall, this has been a very interesting thread, filled with some intelligent people, some juveniles and many entertainers.
