ANSMEDIA:
This is all Hallows Seminary stadium Onitsha. The mission through the government support has done so much to transform educational facilities across Anambra schools. Archbishop of Onitsha was seen opening the sports facility for use by seminarians.

Nice one, I wish they had built a bigger stand for the general public, but still a good one none the less

Show us ANSG project, you went and brought a church project. The new building springing up in the Seminary was also attracted by ANSG. The mini stadium is a church project, ANSG contributed nothing to it.
Stop spreading false news.
All Saints Cathedral has been repainted, Grail Temple too, post it as ANSG support project.
Thank you.
Anambra state government every year fund missions in Anambra state, it started during Obi's tenure, Obiano two months ago gave out cheques to missions in the state, it part of developments in our state.

This thread is about developments in anambra state. It doesn't borders on government development. Both private sectors, individuals, missions, etc are included

So much psychophancy in one Video.

The Conference Center is a good idea but devil in the details. If it is WELL MANAGED and WELL FURNISHED with GOOD INFRASTRUCTURE then it will put Anambra on the map. Professional associations, international conferences (especially with UNIZIK nearby), Tradeshows (Onitsha is nearby).

However, to play at the international level or even locally they have to do a lot with the Awka state capital in terms of infrastructure, organization and management.

1)They have to improve accessibility of Agulu Lake Hotel where they sunk huge money and which will be attractive to high class visitors because of its remoteness and security. This means improving the road that leads there which is pothole ridden and lacks street lights. It means removing the police barricade of Zik Avenue and removing all the horrible things you see on Zik Avenue which include people parking on a dual lane carriageway (not done anywhere in the world), selling in wheel barrows and on the side of roads, and the filthy eke awka market in the center.

2) They have to improve the federal expressway which means ensuring that trucks and trailers use the flyovers, remove that rubbish footbridge at Unizik junction, relocate TRACAS, EASTERN MASS, RIVERS TRANSPORT COMPANY and all Awka-Onitsha, Awka-Lagos and Awka-Abuja private buses that congest Unizik junction to a bus terminal at Agu-Awka. They have to build a flyover across from Regina Caeli - Old Inec road.

3) They have to reduce by 50% the number of Keke operating in the town or even ban them entirely and replace them with high capacity buses. Every other state licenses keke, shuttle buses not Anambra. They are now a nuisance in the state capital with their small capacity, wild driving behavior and use in criminal operations.

4) They should concession out Ikenga Mall to investors to finish. Visitors will want to go shopping in the town and Ikenga Mall is a stone's throw.

5) They should remove the culture of touting entirely from Awka. This is the state capital not Ochanja and it should be a place for decent living for civil servants, university people and service businesses not street trading or primitive trading.

Pile of trash. Even when you know nothing but always claiming to know more than even the professionals in government meanwhile your life is miserable. Mktinsight Anambra is moving on the right track.

Anambra doesn't need your useless worthless incoherent advice. All the nonsense you mentioned are lies and unfounded. There are street lights everywhere in Anambra, even in the rural areas. Till date Anambra still maintained the lead as the state with best road networks at least in igbo land.

Anambra still maintained the lead as the state with the best organized markets. Anambra is the best investment destination east of the Niger. Anambra international conference centre is equally the best and biggest.

Anambra international airport is the international gateway to the eastern Nigeria. In all areas of development, Anambra leads.

I see a lot of Nigerian airforce high-ranking officers (Not security guards) as part of the entourage.

Does anyone know if the Nigeria Airforce has been allocated a spot to build their Umueri Airforce base? If so, I hope they won't distort the airport's master plan by moving their structures too close to the runway or the future parallel taxiway right of way as they did in Akanu Ibiam Intl airport, Enugu. No building at the airport should be closer to the runway than the distance of the current terminal building from the runway. Similarly, the apron whether for MROs or airforce should not be closer to the runway and taxiway than the distance of the current apron serving the terminal building. These standard distances must be adhered to so that the right of way of big cargo airplanes using the airport in the future is not sabotaged by building structures that encroach too close to the main runway or future parallel taxiway.

The Nigerian airforce should learn to build standard airforce bases with both standard respectable buildings and adequate apron space to house their attack helicopters and fighter jets and not park military airplanes next to civilian planes on the civilian apron! They should take a cue from the Indian airforce or Kenyan airforce that builds their own apron away from the civilian apron in many Indian airports.

Pictorial of some Hospital Equipment facilitated/donated by Dr. Linus and Lady Meg Offiah family, for use at St. Charles Borromeo Specialist Hospital Onitsha, and other Hospitals within the Archdiocese of Onitsha.
Through this their generosity, several containers filled with State of Art Hospital equipment have come to us.

Does Airpeace need lobbying the Federal govt. to build his MRO anywhere? Let him start ASAP developing it at the Anambra Airport site.

This is one of the most important and busiest road in the state capital. The road need serious reconstruction and dualization. Ndi Anambra deserve accessible and dual carriage road especially in the state capital.
