Nice one padre. One should not forget his origin. We're Africans first before religion. God bless you immensely, padre. 253 Likes 10 Shares |

Very good. Our tradition will never fade. The whites from Ireland deceived us to a great extent. We have not realised that what they brought to us are fictional characters. 40 Likes 5 Shares |

I am happy to see this happening. Africans are starting to receive sense. Oyinbo people brainwashed us to reject our artworks under the pretext of their imported religious superiority. The same Oyinbo will steal those artefacts and put them on display in their museums as expensive artworks fetching them millions yearly. Africans must receive sense by force. 156 Likes 13 Shares |

Good one.... Let him save it and keep for the future generations to know more about their ancestry and heritage. It's just painful that we Africans due to Christianity have denied and abandoned the things that make up part of our culture. Christianity must have taken hold in Europe but most ancient pre-christian artefacts are still in museums today. European museums still have artefacts of Greek, Roman and Viking God's till this very day but we Africans have destroyed our own heritage because of a foreign religion. 59 Likes 6 Shares |

He did not save the statues to promote African culture he did it to promote the Catholic Church, these priests have done more to destroy African culture than any pastor could accomplish, now they want to give themselves good PR... Some people will fall for dis sha 5 Likes 2 Shares |

Yes, basically every deity is a piece wood carving, metal work or moulding into which a demon or demons were invoked and carefully programmed into and then enthroned in a place (shrine) to serve a purpose to a family, clan or community by mutual agreement in return for allegiance and worship. Thus, whenever a community that owns a deity decide to end the relationship with the deity by abrupt break-up by a superior power rather than by negotiation and mutually ending the relationship, there is need to allow that community to decide what to do: burn or hand over to a museum. But the people must be 100% SURE that the demon has been cast out because the demon could be tricky and lie low in order to unleash destruction and wickedness much later. Without the presence of spirit or demon, a deity is mere piece of artwork. 17 Likes 2 Shares |

ARRANT NONSENSE CHOOSE YE TODAY WHOM YE WILL SERVE,A AS FOR ME AND MY FAMILY, WE WILL SERVE THE LIVING GOD. CATHOLIC CHURCH ARE KNOWN FOR BOWING FOR IDOLS AND THE STATUES OF THEIR SO-CALLED SON OF god AND HIS MOTHER I TESTIFY THAT NO god DESERVE TO BE WORSHIPPED EXCEPT ALMIGHTY GOD 18 Likes 3 Shares |

False dieties are all to be burnt in fire! Even the image of Jesus and Mary in Churches are to be burnt! All these graven images are to be burnt! This is a big mistake which will spell doom for a later generation! I no get Bible and I am antichristian. The graven images of their gods you are to burn with fire... Deut. 7:25 You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. richmond500: These things are spiritual. What we fail to understand is that these are mere representation of the deities. They are symbolic, just like Abraham looked at the stars to grasp the image of how his descendants will be. The gods manifest only when they are invoked. 13 Likes 1 Share |

God will bless the priest more! He is preserving them for future generations to see and understand how their forefathers lived. I pray he will get funds to improve on the environment. The museum needs a complete building and well furnished interior to make it more attractive. This can even become a money spinner! Build a fine house with African settings, put all those artifacts on display in shelfs and show glasses, then publicise it! Tourists will eventually start coming from all over the world, especially African Americans that want to connect to their root! This is a potential forex earner and smart investors should reach out to the priest!! 16 Likes 2 Shares |
