Nice response off the bottom of the trend line.... seems scenario B is playing out.... If thats the case,
2 points I'd be looking at for a possible rejection are the 4hr ema which is currently at 33.6k and the top of the channel which is close to 35.7k...... Eitherway, it's likely support will still be tested again

BTW, sweet bounce on ada and link... Was a risky trade but support did its job.... Took profits on ada at 1.2 which is 20%... May look to re-enter lower but I wan go watch match.... Enough for today...

What valid reason? The same reasons of volatility, aiding criminal activites and enviromental effects. All these reasons have been countered appropriately.

The FUD narrative is been put in put faces. A country announced its adoption, another country announced clampdown, yet the market reacted only to negative news.

Then you have billionaires like Ray Dalio, Paul Tudor and other co adding to their portfolio. Microstartegy borrowed money to buy almost 500m worth of btc. Why are they buying more despite impending regulation?

Cryptos is going through a transition phase where government policies, cleaner energy and Wannabes has been the hiccups but the good news is that many paper hands are being shaking off and only will the strong will stand to drive it full force ahead

The method that I believe works for me... I focus more on support/resistance zones... Based mainly on the market sentiment.... Sometimes, I just hold...

You are wise. A lot of people who bought at 6k felt Bitcoin was dead and they were finished too and capitulated at 3k. Many regret that decision today.

A capitulation will occur at $20k.

Most people would be too scared to buy.

I would not be one of them.

Salah.

For the Alts thingy, I would still be buying SOL. Please can you assist with the SOL levels, I need to know where to set my orders. I would be DCA with tears all the way down.

What happened today was market manipulation/ what the institutions wanted, bring the price down to 29k and steal your coins. People sold without waiting for a daily close below or for it to confirm. The confirmation signal is designed to signal a real breakdown vs a fake. Learn it!

Hehe... This market can be tricky sometimes...
Bitc0in always has a way of doing what the majority don't expect it to do... When the capitulation to 3k occured, most were shoked as they thought 6k would hold as it had held for so long... Sometimes, that kind of capitulation is good to reset a market and hasten reaccumulation...

Right now, the market sentiment is sort of split... Some want lower, some want higher...

U get mind for your Sol...
Good enough, it's one of the few alyts that are still above the weekly ema support... Undoubtedly, if bitc0in keep misbehaving, it'd break down....

Another thing is that it's a relatively new coin which has gone on a recent pump... Hence the levels against usd and betece are not as well tested... So they can capitulate

From the daily chart, the significant levels are split at about 5 dollar intervals (couldn't clearly outline them on a mobile chart)...

From the weekly chart major levels are at 20, 40 and 50... At these levels one would expect a reaction.....

Founders of South African Bitcoin exchange disappear after $3.6 billion 'hack'

Founders of South African Bitcoin exchange disappear after $3.6 billion 'hack'

Wed, June 23, 2021, 12:46 PM·1 min read

Cryptocurrency investors in South Africa may have lost nearly $3.6 billion in Bitcoin following the disappearance of two brothers associated with one of the country’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges. According to Bloomberg, a law firm in Cape Town says it can’t locate Ameer and Raees Cajee, the founders of Africrypt. In April, the exchange told its investors it was the victim of a hack and asked them not to report the incident to the authorities on account it would “slow down” the process of recovering their missing money.

Some of those involved in the exchange hired Hanekom Attorneys, the law firm that said it couldn’t find the two brothers, to investigate the incident. It found that someone had withdrawn Africrypt’s pooled funds from the local accounts and client wallets where the coins were stored originally and put them through tumblers and mixers, making it difficult (though not impossible) to trace the money. “Africrypt employees lost access to the back-end platforms seven days before the alleged hack,” the law firm told Bloomberg. The outlet attempted to call both Cajee brothers multiple times only to get their voicemail each time.

Complicating any recovery attempt is that South Africa’s Finance Sector Conduct Authority can’t launch a formal investigation into the incident because cryptocurrency isn’t legally considered a financial product in the country. If no one can recover the money, it will go down as the largest cryptocurrency loss in history, easily overshadowing the approximately $200 million CAD that disappeared when the founder of Canada’s QuadrigaCX exchange died while travelling in India.

Thanks for this... Frankly speaking, I don't see why someone would sell any bitc0in they bought for less than 35k for a loss..... Worst case scenario, in some months, bitc0in rebounds.

Those selling bitc0in at a loss now so they could buy lower may likely buy at same levels they sold... Of course, it's different with alyts....and unfortunately, most folks are neck deep in alyts....

One of the reasons why I want a capitulation to occur is so I can place long-term buys and relax fow a few months.... Reminds me of what happened at 6k...when bitc0in crashed to 3k...

yeah I did a top/down video (from monthly to 4hr ) analysis- can’t post link here. Not on YouTube yet.
I think BT.C has one more wick into <25k region(78.6% retracement) or bad as e bad 22,21(wicks) on the monthly. And after that., 66, - 89k is programmed. I’m sensing towards the end of the year(probably).

And looking from the BeeTC dominance chart., Alts will see some last rallies sending DOM to 30% levels as in late 2017 early 2018
