Some people will still come and insult RCCG and Pastor Adeboye despite the fact that as a Church, they're doing what a democratically elected government wouldn't do for their people with all the taxes, IGR and resources we have in the country.

Ifewara is Adeboyes home town

Church money is for the Whole Church and the needy to be fair RCCG would also need to also repair roads leading to the Members hometowns as well so that it doesn’t seem that Adeboye is using his Position to use Church Money to benefit his Hometown while neglecting the Hometowns of other Church Members

But that road was Government responsibility

What is Oyedepo, Oyakhilome etc etc doing.........

They too are doing their own oh. If this issue of petition to the senate had not happened, you wouldn't hear anything about what RCCG did too. Churches do a lot but they don't make any noise about it.

Don't mind them. They're EOPs. The day the news surfaced here, you needed to see how they were attacking this man of God and exonerated fahola as if he's not one of them. We are enemies of ourselves in this country. We like praising dishonesty over and above decorum.

Also no mention of how to retrieve the N151m that was paid to another contractor that ended up abandoning the job. That one is gone just like that.
Did you even know if they gave the contractor the money? The contractor is just a figurehead, the money have been shared since.

Because there was an issue with this one that is why you know about it. Do you think this is the only road RCCG has ever constructed for public use, how many of them do you know? A lot of Roads has been constructed by Winners (Oyedepo) in that Sango/Ota axis. Ask those that leave around there if you have any.
True.
I know of a street road, Winners constructed with interlocking tiles. Very beautiful.

The selfishness of these so called MOG, PLC, businessmen is sickening. Of all roads in Nigeria, why repair the road to his cradle home? What is the economic benefit of this particular road rehabilitation for the nation? I only pity the sheeple whose donations have been deployed in this manner.

A road the federal ministry of works awarded with #662m was done with #188m by the church. You see the huge difference in amount?
In 2011 it couldn't have cost more than #100m, but see the over inflated amount. The political class are the name of this country under development

They are doing aot ,don't need to make noise about it.. this road is nothing compared to what RCCG is doing underneath without making noise. The number of students on scholarship and sponsorship are huge ..it is just that some people in the society are painting churches in bad light these days..

Senseless post. If you spend that money paying the university tuition fees for verified indigent undergraduates and postgraduates as well as apprentices and people financially struggling with business start-ups, no one in their right senses would complain. Use your intuitive knowledge to discern and stop being a sheeple. Use your brain.

And to think that 99m was mobilisation fee for this Cartil..... And the church didn't need such bloated fee to do the project?!!!!

This thing called mob fee... Kwarapshun!!!

Imagine over 7000+ of such similar mob fee scattered across the country on road projects. The gap RCCG gave too wide. Commendable!!! Shame on our leaders. Taking 11yrs to do what RCCG did under a year!!! Shame!!

But that road was Government responsibility

Actualy it doesn't work that way.

The Christian Social Responsibility arm of the RCCG executed the project. They have been involved in several projects across the country, from water supply to environmental sanitation and construction activities.

The leadership of the CSR group may have executed the project to honour the G.O, NOT because he asked for it.

Politics is in most places, from our homes to the larger society. The establishment of the University of Transportation management in Katsina state supervised by the Hon. Minister for transportation is a case in point. Sometimes, its not because the leader asked for it but because subordinates do it to honour or gain favour from the leader.

As for those asking what some other church leaders are doing, you can visit their locality and ask. It's not everyone that is comfortable with bringing their charitable works to the media. I don't condemn those who do. But Christ spoke more in favour of the former group of people than he did about the latter group.

Finally, I hope the exclusive list thing is done away with soonest, then we will see more of this.

Can you just imagine? Paid a contractor who never lifted a finger to get the job done and no questions were asked.
Thank God they are being exposed one after the other. They cannot escape the consequences except they repent and do the right things.

Who told you they don't do the above? RCCG has sponsored numerous students at different academic levels. People like you speak with very limited knowledge cos you are trying to form 'woke', whereas you know very little to nothing. Most of you don't even pay tithes and offerings in the church, some of you are muslims complaining. Sadly enough, you people won't apply the same zeal and criticism to your government that you pay taxes to everyday.

Ask yourself the following questions:

1. Are you an RCCG member?
2. How much from the money spent on that project came from your pocket or that of any of your family member?
3. What have you contributed to the church in form of donations or tithes and offerings?

If you have no answer to any of the above, then you are just wasting your time. The only group of people authorised to complain about anything related to church funds are the board of trustees and diligent, long term church members.

RCCG built a free secondary school in Koma hill, Jada local government and Npalkaba( I am not sure of the spelling) in Hong local government areas of Adamawa state. The church developmental stride is not restricted to Ifewara alone. It is all over the nation.

They budgeted a bogus sum for this project. Yet RCCG executed it at a far cheaper price. This country can never get there, stop deceiving yourselves.
How I even wish after inflating the price they'd actually do the work, it would have been better... But they'd inflate the price, take the money (probably give kickbacks to the politicians that awarded them the project) and end up not doing the project.. It's so sad..
