I'm confused with this.

Don't complicate it. Book the accommodation for when you choose to arrive in Poland. If you're palling to get their by October, then it would make sense to have an accommodation contract from October this year to next year. Your flight ticket must also coincide with this as well as your insurance.

Please what is easiest and convenient way to secure appointment date for visa as the call in not going tru?
Re: Polish Student Visa by Odez1: 9:27pm On Jun 27, 2021

1. Round trip used. I have a flight agent that I normally work with (I fly mostly only with Airfrance/KLM cause I have mileage)

2. From scenario you've stated
* If insurance is September (1year + 2 months validity)
* Flight should be from September as well
*These have to match, you can't fly without insurance
* This depends if you get your appointment in September then yes your visa wold most likely start from September

3. My passport was 2 year validity (Exp. 2023)

Thanks so much for ur response, please I sent u email.

Guy, either you call and call till you're lucky to get through (It is possible, I've done that)

If not and you are willing and able to spend some cash. Get a date from someone and I would advise that you don't pay until you arrive there and are sure your name is on the list.

Good evening house.
I would like to confirm some few things.
I have a guardian who saw me through university here in Nigeria and I intend to use him as a sponsor.
He retired as a top VP in shell and he is still being paid pension.
He said he could get a letter from shell saying he was one of their top manager but retired now though he still does consultancy for them and he gets his pension every month.
He promised to write a convincing sponsor letter and and he could prove that he has the financial prowess as well. Also, he has evidence of how he saw me through university. Can this fly?
Also, he has a distribution company as well and I also suggested creating a payslip for himself.
He said he prefers that I use a recognized company like shell.

I told him to do CC instead, he said he doesn’t like bank issues.

Nwanne whatever his story is....the only options he has to prove to the polish embassy that he is financially capable of sponsoring you are:

a) 3 months recent payslips and confirmation letter of employment, with a signed and notarized letter of sponsorship

OR

b) Certificate of Credit card limit, with a signed and notarized letter of sponsorship

OR

c) Both

Once you’re at the embassy. Someone will come out to read the names of people on the list for that day.

Please this is not correct. If you are appealing a visa that was initially denied you do NOT pay 80 euros again. You only pay 80 euros for a new fresh visa application. For example If you are denied a visa at the polish embassy, you have 14 days to appeal without paying the 80 euros again. If after that appeal you are still denied the visa then you have to start all over again and this is considered a whole new fresh application and this time you have to pay the visa application fee of 80 euros again

Hope that is clear
Thanks for this.
I really appreciate

I have this issue, and I don't know how to go about it,
My dad already made travel insurance for a year for me. The start date is on September 22, but my school accommodation contract is starting on October 1st. Is it possible to change the starting date of the insurance?
Can I also add 2 extra months to the insurance{with extra pay of course}?
Thanks

Infact, every embassy works like that: For appeal u do not pay visa application fee again but for fresh new application u need to pay the visa application fee. And pls note for any embassy you are only allowed to appeal once. After that u need to submit in a whole new fresh visa application.

Hope that is clear

Instead of saying that I’m wrong, why didn’t you just go to the polish visa website and see it for yourself.

Here highlighted in bold If you do not agree with the consul's decision, you may ask to have your visa application re-considered. You must apply for the reconsideration in the office that issued the decision within 14 days of its delivery.

The application fee in this case is 80 euro.

If you go on the website https://www.gov.pl/web/nigeria-en/d-type-national-visa , and go to how to appeal, this information is stated clearly there.

I was also talking from experience. I’ve appealed and had to pay 80 euro for appealing.

Please always check the website before asking questions or answering questions for people.

Hope this clarifies it for everyone.

your insurance start date should begin on the same date as your intended date of travel in your visa application, and it should be the same departure date on your flight reservation.
Also ensure that your arrival date is not before the date specified on your accommodation contract/letter
yes you can purchase an additional 2 months of insurance.

I’m not sure if the insurance company can adjust the dates. You can ask them if they can or someone on here can advise. But what I am sure of is that you can purchase additional months.

If you look below your original comment @blessednendowed answered

blessednendowed:

Let me correct this okay.... Calls can come from anywhere ok. But I am saying that the Polish embassy in Nigeria may ONLY accept to issue an appointment date to calls coming from countries its embassy has the jurisdiction to issue a visa for. These countries include Republic of Benin, Republic of Ghana, Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Republic of Cameroon, Republic of Liberia, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Republic of Sierra Leone, Togolese Republic.

I am saying that there is a possibility that if your friend is not calling from one of these countries then there is a possibility the embassy MAY not accept to issue them an appointment date.

Please take note I am talking about calling for a visa appointment date here NOT legalization date. For Legalization date anyone can help you book it because its done through the website so there is no telling where the person may be located as long as they have access to the website.

Hope this is clear now.

Why not?

If you’re fast enough to get the right documents then go ahead.

Though spaces may be limited or unavailable this close to deadline but good luck trying.
