I wrote Jamb this year and was expecting more score, but I was surprised when I scored 188.
Seriously, it seems like there's mass failure in Jamb this year (and everyone is complaining of getting the score that they weren't expecting at all).

Maybe Jamb intentionally set it up because there are other pending admissions for Jamb to attend to. Maybe they cut off a certain mark from everyone's total score. But I'm not so sure about that, I'm now looking for ways to get admission with my current result.

My course is Computer Engineering. Please what should I do, I want to enter school soon, the thought of staying at home for another one year terrifies me. I don't know what to do now.

Is there any chance that I will get admission this year at all?

If your papa get money go to some of these private schools wey dem no need Jamb like Babcock, And so on...you will get your computer engineering....

You can get a course.
Every course is good course.

You can get your desire course in private university if you can afford it.

they probably cut some of ur scores and gave to me.... i've been out of anything school for close to ten years chasing money... but last year my sister started disturbing that i should go back to school.. that's how i decided to register for jamb o. no time to read yet i scored 260. kinda happy... JAMB nor Dey mark, they randomly award mark. That body should be scrapped.

This is not just an unproved allegation, I actually experimented on, and confirmed this. I graduated in 2006 but wrote another jamb in 2012 because I wanted to confirm if this my suspicion was true or not. I wrote Literature, Govt and CRS. By my calculations, I shouldn’t have scored less than 320 in that jamb but I was given 222.

Literature is divided into 2 sections; 50% Literary Appreciation and 50% questions from the recommended Text. I answered the literary appreciation section and LEFT THE OTHER 50% untouched cos I didn’t bother myself with reading the recommended texts.

I was scored 87 in literature (a subject in which 50% questions were left unattended). Govt, CRS and English that I did very and confirmed d answers after d exam, dem start Dey share 50, 52 and other scores like that....

Jamb nor Dey mark... if u still Dey doubt am, take the next jamb form for fun and confirm wetin I just talk

Why won't you fail? You got exactly what your scored! I believe you wrote English in your jamb

Please what course or institution do you think I should change to.
I searched and found a State University, ESUT, their cut off mark is 180 +, but it's expensive to study in that school.
I really need to get admission this year, because spending another one year at home isn't funny at all.
I don't even know if I should start preparing for the Screening exam or not.

I spent four years at home... Mehn e no funny but with Jesus's help, boy Issa potentially 400l student now. God will help you bro

The earlier you start to learn a skill (hand work) the better for you.
