I am also interested in knowing the easiest place to get a 10year passport, the cost for DIY and the cost for the corrupt method.

I apply for renewal online and make payment of 26,000 and printed the receipt and acknowledgement slips coupled with some documents...

On Getting to Ikoyi office the crowd is much, and I was told to come back in 4weeks to submit my documents...

So I called someone he referred me to someone and their, he collected 10,000..
Now I v done capturing.....waiting for passport collect

Pls I need explicit replies to my predicaments;

1) Does it means that everytime I move out of the country then have used a page on the passport i.e I have to travel 32 times to exaust the 32 pages passport within its stipulated yrs?
How many pages do I use to and fro on a travrl?

2) As regards how herculean the renewal process is, do u suggest going for the 10yrs passport @70k? What do u say about the price? What if the prices of passports soar in coming yrs as we've seen for this?
If we have people that opt for it, kindly state ur reasons.

I don't have idea on the first question, but as for the second one. It depends on you and if you can afford it. I paid that 70k for my own 10yrs renewal. If u can't afford it no problem, just go for the 5yrs. Though it will prevent you from unnecessary wahala again in 5yrs time from another renewal. My own is that I don't know where I might be that time and I don't want to bother myself on this no booklet available

This is exactly what I'm going through now. I went to Ikeja passport office for renewal. The DIY process wasn't too much of a hassle until I was told my details in NIN doesn't match what's in NIS database and I have to change my name on NIN. I don't want to do that because I have used my nin details to register for other things. How do I go about changing or adding a name to my records on NIS please.

I chose the path of DIY. I chose Ikoyi as my capturing center. I want to know if there's a court nearby where I can do the oath swearing there too.
I also want to know if anyone has a contact over there that could easy the process. I am willing to part with money if it will make the process faster.

Sam thing on my mind...is there a way we can meet up on that Friday at the office so as to bribe if needed...I believe meeting one officer together is better than individually...to reduce cost...mehn this country is just so corrupt...
