Bida Poly Lecturer Spotted Lecturing Only One Student Who Attended His Class (Photo)

A lecturer with the Department of Statistics, Federal Polytechnic Bida, Niger State, was spotted on Monday, June 28, lecturing only one student who attended his class.

IgbereTV gathered that many students of the institution are yet to resume classes since the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP, suspended its 65-day-old strike on June 10.

Facebook user, Olaiya Isah, who spotted the lecturer shared the photo and commended him for his commitment to duty. Isah wrote;

Truely, Their are men/women who loves their job.

Let take our mind from the fact that many students are yet to resume maybe due to harsh economy. let us focus on this lecturers commitment despite the fact that only just one student was in attendance...

I was just walking by this morning before i came across this lecturer, ACCURACY was supprised and amazed to see that their are people who loves their job passionately. This no doubt is an indication of commitment, zeal, love for job, dedication.

He is an old man but very energetic. I was forced by supprise to ask him that ‘ sir, pls can i take a photo of u？’ And the lecturer responded that .‘ hope the picture wont implicate anybody’. i was overwhelmed, happy and encourage to continue to give to humanity without expecting applaud. from his response, one can deduce that his interest is not for the world to see him but just to clear his conscience and to justify his salary.

He is a lecturer from Statistic department, let make him go viral...

It was done in that same school decades ago.
Abuja campus.
That lecturer don't sell handouts but write on the blackboard with chalk.

Others have more important things to do like fetching water or finding greener pastures for their cows.

I have a lecturer then (late though) that takes just one attendance the whole semester and that's 10marks....but must be when students are fewer in class....and during raining days.

When he died, u need to hear the kind of song students were singing during procession

The first time someone dies and I see no student cry.......


I also one then in my first year 2nd semester who drove to school under heavy rain with storm for 7am lectures, meeting and empty class, wrote on the board, the course code and the outline...then boldly wrote under it....CONSIDER THIS TREATED.......

That student go still hear am, esp if he's someone who can't deliver to others,,, if you know, you know.

One day, a lecturer entered the class & refused to let those he met outside in. Before he finished writing date & topic on the board, the few students inside left the class to join the ones outside - make he dey talk to the empty seats. The man just carried his belongings & left the class.

As you can see the other students out side the class room looking,
The main reason there is only one student in that class is that the lecturer has chronic body odor,
And the only student in the class has nasal congestions.
